My son said it was his most satisfying meal in South Island so far. We have tried North Indian food around the world and this is right up there with the best in terms of authenticity and flavour. We had the palak paneer, chicken korma, plain naan, and rice. The price was really good. The rice was free-flow. Amazing! Highly recommend!

This small Indian restaurant in Milton New Zealand is on the Clutha Gold Trail cycling track.
I was impressed with the extensive menu options. I had vegetable biryani which was very plentiful ( enough for 2 people) and very tasty.
There were choices for all types of diets requirements.
Serving staff helpful and attentive.

We got take away from here, and it was delicious! Very flavorful, large portions, lamb biryani had lots of meat. Just write plain naan. Would definitely go again.

We came here for lunch. One of the best indian food in south island with humble staff. We tried their lamb madras, chicken jhalfrezi and butter chicken. All the dishes were cooked to perfection with each curry distinct from the other and the lamb melting in the mouth. The chef took utmost care in taking care of spice requirements. The garlic naan and aloo kulcha were tasty and ample quantity. A rare find.

We were passing through Milton and decided to take a break for lunch. We picked an Indian restaurant and found ourselves at The Annapurna Indian Cuisine. From the very first bite, we were genuinely delighted—the flavors were rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The service was warm and welcoming, and the portions were impressively generous. If you ever find yourself in the area, this place is definitely worth stopping for. Highly recommended!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As we are a family with different tastes, PLEASE when u say order will only be 15minutes please make it 15minutes. I had ordered for others at another place and their dinner was almost cold as I still waited for my order with u guys. Food is great, clean and tidy but slow and not to time frame. Sorry family was disappointed waiting for a Luke warm dinner and weren’t happy mine was hot.
Time frames are important so if going to take longer, just let customers know.

Really delicious meal and great service from the young man behind the counter. We rang very late in the evening to order our food and he cheerfully stayed open until we got there. Much appreciated

We had the lamb kadai and malai kofta. The curry sauces here are incredible so I would highly recommend the lamb with any of the sauces. The malai was one of the creamiest vege curries I’ve ever had. Easily tops a lot of curry places in Sydney. Clearly all home made and they don’t skimp on the nuts / spices.
Serving sizes are huge, I wouldn’t get more than one naan per person, (especially if you are having the rice).
They usually only do takeaway but dining in, they still had warmed plates and cutlery.

This has become my go-to stop on the way home to Dunedin from Central. The food is fresh and flavoursome: the currries classic and the breads outstanding. The proportions are wonderfully generous.
And what a great name!

Doesn’t look fancy but is some of the best Indian food I’ve had. flavours are rich, I like when there is a strong flavour in the food rather than just heat. Good work guys.
