Came through town at 8:40pm on a Friday evening and was told we aren’t taking anymore orders. Pathetic excuse for hospitality in a small town. They had three tables with people, so they weren’t busy. But that’s ok, our dinner at Wilson’s Club across the street was great. Your loss!

Sat there for an hour, the first half hour our food wasn’t even started, the drinks were good. When we finally got our food we had to get it to go and they didn’t even give me my side salad and my bacon on a simple blt was burned. 6 people and 2 just gave up and left because we had somewhere to be. We weren’t sure what to expect in a small town but oh my goodness it was amazing! My husband got the fish and chips and I got the teriyaki burger. We both kept eating way past being full because everything was perfection. Service was great! Will defintely be coming back.

Ate there two years ago and it was ok at best. Ate there this week and it was considerably worse. I wouldn’t recommend ordering the trout or catfish or basically anything else unless you knew the person that was cooking and that they knew that they shouldn’t burn everything that they touched. Every single thing that we ordered was overcooked and burnt. I can only assume that the food would be good if they could only find someone that knew how to cook. It’s a shame because the owner is a great guy.

Played pool all night with family. Paid for every drink with cash. Everything was good. Then when the last drink was bought costing 3 dollars we gave 6 dollars and got a “thank you” but no change. Then later was asked how much money was given for drink(by friend) after bartender took 6 dollars from hand (while saying thankyou). THEN bar tender comes to me asking for 3 more dollars for beer. I proceeded to explain “I just gave you 6 dollars”. She claims “no you didn’t. I need 3 dollars for that beer…” yet couldn’t tell you what beer it was. Being the sober one of the group (aka d.d.) she still tried to get 3 more dollars out of me for my friends 3 dollars beer that she profited 3 dollars off of. As an ex bar tender I told her “next time don’t be drunk behind the bar.”
