Nice and clean eating area. You order at the entrance and get a number and proceed to wait at the dining area. We had rice bowls with chicken and cod. The food was a bit bland. Maybe the ramen or noodle dishes would be better. Minimal service. Average price. They do ask for tips upfront when ordering food at the entrance.

This hit the spot. The staff were friendly, the menu had all our favorite classics plus some unique twists. We ordered some appetizers and ramen. Everyone who had ramen was floored – they must call it Angel kitchen because the broth sends you to heaven

The spicy edamame was so good with the chili paste on it.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. I joined the waitlist and waited for almost 30 minutes, only to be served a small bowl of instant noodles. It was absolutely not ramen, yet it cost $22, which was very disappointing. It only came with two small pieces of pork and an egg, and on top of that, it was extremely salty.

Overall, the food quality did not justify either the wait time or the price.

I ordered the tonkatsu ramen ($20) with extra vegetables ($6), and the entire experience was a lesson in how to overcharge customers while misrepresenting basic cooking techniques.

Let’s start with the vegetables. They were charred—and charred is not stir-fried. Stir-frying is a controlled technique that preserves texture and balance through heat management and movement. What I received were bitter, burnt vegetables with no freshness left. When I pointed this out, I was told “that’s how it’s done.” That explanation does not hold up. Calling something “charred” does not make it stir-fried, nor does it excuse the bitterness that ruined the dish. The bitterness even carried into the fish component, which tasted unpleasantly bitter as well.

The staff interaction made the situation worse. When I shared my concerns, the waitress dismissed them outright with visible attitude. There was no attempt to explain, clarify, or even acknowledge the feedback. Shutting down a customer rather than engaging professionally is unacceptable, especially when the issue is incorrect execution.

The egg was another clear miss. It was not properly seasoned and lacked depth or care. It was simply a plain egg presented as something more refined than it actually was. The chashu was equally disappointing: only two thin slices in a $20 bowl, which is unreasonably skimpy for the price.

The soup sealed the disappointment. This was not a proper tonkotsu-style broth. Instead of being rich and balanced, it tasted thin and artificial, heavily boosted with MSG or chemical flavoring, with a sour aftertaste that lingered unpleasantly.

Service practices were also questionable. Tips were requested before the food arrived. Water is self-serve. Despite this, I still tipped $3 upfront, expecting basic professionalism and intending to tip more if the service warranted it. It did not.

Between the high prices, poor execution, dismissive service, and questionable tipping practices, this place fails to deliver value or quality. Charred vegetables are not stir-fried, and dismissing valid feedback does not make the food or service acceptable.

Excellent food and friendly staff. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside, and we had that area to ourselves.

My only complaint is that the butterfly tea that my husband ordered tasted like ice water. There was no flavor at all. I’d be hesitant ordering another tea, but the food was top-notch.

I ordered the wild cod with teriyaki sauce, and it was delicious with perfectly seasoned stir fry veggies. The atmosphere is very zen like with relaxing music. Service was great!
A little hard to see from the road and you could possibly miss the driveway to the parking which is directly in front of the building.

This was the most relaxing & delicious dinner I have had in a long time. The volume level was down (felt like I was in a calm library) which gave me and my husband a chance to taste our food & be still with our tastebuds. We are a variety of appetizers & an entree and were full & satisfied. The service was fast and kind. The chefs did an excellent job!

These places appear to cost a lot of money, but trust me, they are not, and the food is fantastic. It is a self-service restaurant where you place your order and then it is served to you at your table. We ordered salmon bowls and chicken dumplings. It was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here and would like to return. There are not many employees. The person at the cash register was both helpful and friendly.

By far my favorite place to eat in Sedona! As a local, the restaurant scene in town gets a bit old, but we eat here a several times a month and it’s seriously so good. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. A few of my favorite dishes are the veggie miso ramen, the grilled chicken rice bowl and the curry. Don’t forget to get a pot of tea to share.

This place is truly angelic! We happened across this restaurant looking for a place to eat dinner in Sedona. The food is SO good with great vegetarian options – the different ramens, potato balls, and gyoza were all delicious, hot, and came out so fast! The teas are also delicious and warming. The vibe inside is cool and inviting too. The staff is super kind and we left fully satiated and vibing high from all the winks from the universe.
