I really wanted to like this place, but our entire experience was a disappointment. We ordered the walleye Dip (not pictured), and it was just okay. I got a filet mignon, medium-rare, and as shown in the photo, it looked unappetizing, was extremely small, and was chewy. I took two bites and couldn’t eat the rest. The baked potato was the only thing worth eating.
I also ordered a lemon drop (not pictured), and whatever it was, it definitely was not a lemon drop. I took two sips and couldn’t finish it. Even the wine tasted flat. The bread was good at first, but when we asked for a second batch, it came out cold.
My partner ordered the lamb stew, and it was honestly inedible. We were the only customers in the restaurant, and now I understand why.
Overall, very disappointing food and drinks. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend this place.

Our party ordered the smoked walleye dip, shrimp linguini, a cheddar burger, and a mushroom Swiss burger. Everything was excellent! Their french fries are awesome as well. We ordered takeout because one of us wasn’t feeling well. If the takeout was that good, I can’t wait to dine in.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant since I realized they were there a few weeks ago. We had been to the two previous restaurants and the location is perfect for downtown Lorain.
We were not disappointed. We were served warm rolls with butter. Nice touch. We had the empanada appetizer. A small serving for the price but they were tasty. I liked them but my friend did not care for them. More for me!
We had the stuffed walleye entree. It was delicious and presentation was spot on.
We WILL definitely be back.

The place was warm and welcoming. The server was also warm and welcoming! The food was really tasty, we all ordered different things and everyone enjoyed their choices. The shrimp scampi was especially good!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Lorain! Service was excellent, food was delicious. Truly. Price was absolutely reasonable. I loved my stuffed walleye, and one of my guests raved about her pasta. The other had the chicken and said it too was quite good. We even chatted with the chef after the meal about the history of the building. When three more joined us in the morning, we decided to have breakfast here as well. Real breakfast for six was under $90. I’ll be back next time I’m in Lorain.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. As a family with food allergies, we especially appreciated the chef coming out to discuss the meal with us to ensure it went smoothly. And oh my, the food was so good. The Walleye Fish Cakes were fantastic. My son and I agreed we could easily make a meal out of just those. The Amish Molasses Butter Chicken is also highly recommended, although everything we ordered was top notch. We were just driving thru, otherwise we’d be back repeatedly.

Sad to say this, but I live in this city and I can not reccomend you dine here. We did. Everything thing we ordered tasted like dead, freezer burned, cardboard. My poor mouth was so unhappy. The only reason I am leaving this review is in the hope I am saving someone from a culinary disaster.

Very glad to see this place open! I support our downtown and want to see businesses succeed. The service was outstanding! We were recognized immediately and quickly seated. Our server was very friendly. The location is great, though a few things seemed a little off.
It seems a little off with no background music to set the atmosphere. I guess I just expect some music playing at a place that nice.
The food took quite some time for just soup and salad, the pop machine didn’t seem to be putting enough syrup into the drinks and a toasted bun was toasted to half burned, but they are new and maybe the kitchen is still working things out.
I certainly intend to return and hope things just get better from here. I wish them the best of luck with this new restaurant in downtown!

I have no words. We stayed at the hotel for one night (we’re from out of town). This review is not for the food because I never got a chance to eat there but for the older bartender woman who worked on Wednesday. Shame shame shame. I went to bed angry and woke up angry. I would never recommend this place due to her alone. Shame because I really really wanted to eat here since it’s the only “fine dining” in this tiny Ohio town.
