I wanted to share my wonderful experience at The Anchor. It’s truly a hidden gem that has quickly become a must-have in our lives!

During my visit, I enjoyed the Monte Cristo and a lemon pudding trifle, while my husband savored the Salmon Croissant along with several other delicious baked goods. The ordering process is simple—just walk up, place your order, and choose to sit and enjoy your meal or take it to go.

The dining area is small, cozy, and features a charming nautical theme. Outdoor seating is also available. You can’t go wrong with this adorable little restaurant!

Super charming!!! A fantastic little gem tucked into the marina. The staff is so warm, and all are truly welcome here. The pastries are made fresh on site and worth coming back for the daily variety. The house coffee is also surprisingly good. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t say enough nice things about these guys. They are welcoming and friendly, and the food and value are both fantastic. They have done an incredible job with the restaurant, and we have ben visiting every week for awhile, as easily a favorite off the beaten path breakfast and lunch spot. Everything thing I’ve tried from their menus and baked goods have been excellent. They will even play along with ridiculous orders: shout out to my recent craving of a Burger Melt with a fried egg, mushrooms, and onions! I’ve been meaning to leave them a review for awhile now, but was probably too content from my meals to remember when left. I send everyone I can their way, with only a small concern the line will get too long from popularity they well deserve.

I would go out of my way to eat this amazing food!!! If I could give 11 out of 10, I would. The place is small, so keep that in mind. Service is at a comfortable pace. The inside is cute, casual and clean. The food was so so good! I have yet to try the amazing looking pastries, but I bought them just too full To eat right now. Our party had the croissant Monte Cristo, which I Will dream about. The Fantastic Smashburger, The super yummy waffle, Delightful chai lattes, Perfectly cooked eggs and bacon, And a great iced coffee. Coffee station like Starbucks milk, cream, and sugar. Dog friendly outside. You must try!

Such a pity that I live 6hours away from this place as their Cubano Panini and Spinach & Artichoke Handpie are heavenly! I definitely have to stop by again on my way home!

Visited the Anchor for the first time Easter Sunday morning while walking – what a GREAT place. Breakfast sandwich was perfect, the views amazing and even met Richard the owner/chef – it was also Bubby’s first day on the job ⚓️ The menu looks great and can’t wait to pop in again.

Richard and Mario have brought a true treasure to the Chester Community. The Anchor brings a friendly, ‘old school’ marina vibe filled with delicious breakfast and lunch choices. You would have no problem making the Anchor your daily place to come for food and conversation. From traditional choices to funky combinations and special catering requests, The Anchor brings back a true classic to the area. Come and come often! ⚓️

Hands down one of my favorite spots! Everything here is consistently excellent—burgers, truffle fries, Cuban sandwiches, mac & cheese, you name it. The specials are always creative and delicious, and their breakfast is top notch too. I’ve been here countless times and have never had a bad meal. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or snagging one of the few seats, this place is a must-try!

The owners are amazing people and the staff is always great as well.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! My husband and I recently had lunch here and everything we tasted was amazing. Many of the menu items are made from scratch, and the quality comes through with every bite. I’m vegetarian and I felt like there were many options I could choose from, which isn’t normally the case with other restaurants. There are a few tables inside the adorably decorated space, or some picnic tables outside.

Where has this place been my whole life??? I moved to the area about four years ago from lower Fairfield County, I never thought I’d find a decent place for breakfast or lunch again. And decent isn’t the right word for this place, it was amazing. The fries were the best fries I’ve ever had and the falafel wrap was so tasty and filling. The Anchor has a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful scenery and casual outside seating on the water. If you haven’t been yet, you’re definitely missing out, the breakfast and lunch menus have a lot of great items, I look forward to trying more. I did not take pics of my food to share, but I did have a ding dong cupcake, and that thing was extraordinary!
