Reviews
Well the beginning would be good to start. Walking in it seems like a decent place to eat and cool off for a bit it. Well, turns out we were wrong. Our first greeting from the bartender who came to take our order didn’t know the specials, drinks, or what beer were on tap. The menu is scattered and we got two different menus with only a few things off from one another. There were a total of 5 people in our party.
Drinks
Two of us ordered their Frozen Cherry Limeade (which came pure alcohol. Some may think that is a plus, but I in particular wasn’t looking to drink straight alcohol). One of us ordered Stella on tap which turned out to be nice and cold, but also flat. With additional drinks we ordered Cokes which started out great, but eventually turned flat as the refills kept coming.
Food
In the group we ordered
– The Club w/o mayo
– Buffalo Wings (with side order of mac and cheese)
– Chicken Tenders
– Tacos (Taco Tuesday)(Comes with three tacos)
– American Cheeseburger
The food took a good bit of time to come out. All food items were brought out one by one slowly to the point each person was finishing their meal before another came out. First out for one meal were the wings which were actually pretty good, but a few did appear to be under cooked (which explained the weird taste for two or three of them) and no mac and cheese. By the time one finished his wing meal the tacos came out. The meat was dry (the little there was) with little to no flavor and full of mostly veggies. Next up came the Club sandwich (with mayo on it, even though we were told mayo doesn’t come on it). Afterwords came the burger and chicken tenders together surprisingly enough. The tenders were good with nice breading. Coming to my burger the top bun was extra chard and missing the american cheese I asked for, but given we waited this long I wasn’t going to mess around and send anything back in fear we could be sitting here even longer. Over time after all the food did arrive the mac and cheese was brought up to which our bartender/waitress didn’t even place that order. After placing the order the mac and cheese was the fastest food item to exit from the kitchen. Once tasting it we found out why. It felt as if it were microwaved kraft with a few extra food bits thrown in to add flare.
Overall Experience
The overall experience for this place was not great what so ever. Our bartender/waitress lost our credit card when she claimed she just wanted it to add to “the file” for our ordering of food and drinks. Brought us someone else’s visa card to ask us if it was ours and instead of asked for a name to continue her search she returned to keep looking. After assistance for someone else they finally found our card behind the bar somewhere. Our waitress/bartender appeared to be fixing drinks for herself after other people cleared out along with multiple smoke breaks and one shirt change (which seemed a little TMI that you’re telling guest that you will be back to check on us after you change your shirt.) Before leaving we saw someone who appeared to be the manager or owner who we asked to speak to, but was told he was already gone. Our bartender/waitress stated that she was cleared to give up 25% off our tab to which we stated we were just trying to speak to the owner to voice our experience to which our bartender/waitress stated that she couldn’t give more off the tab than that 25%. We explained it wasn’t about taking anything off just wanted to voice concerns was all.
So yes, in short not a good place to attend if you’re looking for service.
