They sell Der Dutchman donuts, which was awesome. But I had a pumpkin spice latte that was $4.95 and had globs of spices(?) in it. I also got some deli sandwiches that were nothing special. Chopped fruit looked pretty bad and the bananas were brown.

We stopped for Nancy’s chicken and noodles so that we didn’t have to go all the way down to Clintonville, we were not disappointed! Been back several times for breakfast too, great food, good service. We’ll be regulars! Wine bar looks great too, good looking menu

Great place! The coffee is amazing, the donuts are HUGE and delicious, they have lots of options for drinks and snacks, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful! I’m very excited to try out the bistro and wine bar when it opens!!

Had a lovely time visiting the new American Bistro. Had a taste of one if their specialty soups. Looking forward to going back for a full meal in the winery side. The staff is really sweet!

So excited to try this place out…very disappointed. WAY OVERPRICED! Nancy’s moved to Powell and it appears they are almost doubling their prices. Garbage omlet at Nancy’s, $6.50 according to online menu, Garbage omlet at American Bistro…$11.89. Milk for kids…$3 each. The amount I typically pay for breakfast for my small family at a really good breakfast place is about $50. I left this place trying well over $70. There was an overcharge on our bill we noticed after we left, but it wasn’t significant enough to bother us. This is low end diner food that I suspect is being dropped in Powell with high prices in an attempt take advantage of the affluence in the area. Not sure what the overhead is in Powell versus Columbus on high street, but it can’t be that much different. Paying these prices, you should expect perfection.
Eggs….overcooked..for every order at our table..consensus– omlet was crispy brown dry and thin like tough paper. If you’re going to be a breakfast place, it is absolutely essential that you at least know how to cook eggs. Potatoes…great texture and flavor underneath but there was an unbelievable amount of salt–inedible. Lower the salt and these could be the best potatoes I’ve ever had. Coffee…better than typical watery diner coffee but not very good.
Staff…great…very friendly…food didnt take too long. I’d gladly wait much longer for better quality.
Atmosphere, really nice…concept of three places in one is good but there were fruit flies everywhere, likely from the attached wine bar.
I would give this place another try to see if they can learn to cook eggs, but likely won’t because of the high prices. There are other breakfast places around this area that are very good and much more reasonably priced. I’m not convinced this place will last very long.

Food was excellent! We had a bit of a wait for our order but it was a busy Sunday morning so it was somewhat expected. Great to have another breakfast option in Powell!

It wasn’t a busy night but every dish came out cold. Our waitress was friendly but the food is subpar.
