Been driving by for years and finally stopped in. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food was served quickly. Probably some of the best hot n sour soup I have ever had. The ginger beef was extremely tender. The vegetables in both were extremely fresh and flavourful.

I’ve been looking for a great Chinese restaurant, and Ambassador is it!! The owners are incredibly kind, and the food was amazing. I had the General Tso’s Chicken and Beef Chow Fun—both were SO GOOD. Also, I’m usually picky about spring rolls, but these were perfect—crispy outside, not mushy inside. 10/10 experience!!

Ginger beef was very good, curried fried rice went a little overboard on the curry. But service was outstanding and door dash driver (Amber) was 15 minutes earlier than the projected time. Amber, you get 5 stars. Ambassador restaurant you get 3.5 stars. Ease up on the curry a little, remember sometimes less is more.

This is probably my favorite Americanized Chinese food in Portland. If you are a fan of all-inclusive karaoke, this dive bar is for you! The food is a gen-Xers comfort food (think crab puffs and orange chicken), drinks are strong and the old-Portland dive bar atmosphere is on point. Service is quick and attentive without being overly friendly. Highly recommend.

I hardly write a restaurant review. I use to go to this place foe just drinks and fun. Yesterday, I ordered ChowMein, it was one of the worst ChowMein I ever had. It was greasy and rubbery, I can’t digest it. Dear owner I see you are reading the reviews, please address the quality of food in your restaurant and the type of service.

Grease for $27
Appetizers Combo. Includes 2 wonton that are two hard to bite into, 4 shrimp that pop out of breading when you take a bite, 2 of something in tin foil, 2 eggs rolls … could not even eat it due to so much grease. Which is a sign the fryer oil is dirty
And the 6 crab ragoons tasted like everything else. Lost its flavor in the dirty oil.
So I paid $27 for food with all the same dirty oil taste. Even my dog won’t eat it.
So if you want to eat greasy food with everything having the same taste and not tasting the individual item then go here.
I will go to panda express and pay $4 for the same amount of ragoons that are not just grease

Went 9 months ago. Went again last night. Food was still delicious. Still great vibes. And the cutest gosh dang puffer fish. Bartender is cool as hell. So nice.
Awesome Atmosphere. KAREOKE. Food is great. Shrimp Fried Rice is killer. Huge huge area to hang out back. Great vibes.
