We were looking for something to do on a random tuesday and found they had a trivia going on. We went and had a great time! It’s got a great dive bar atmosphere. It smells a bit musty because it is in a basement, but it seemed very clean.
They had a great selection of beer from around the world which was really cool to sample a couple different ones. I ordered a bottle of wine, and though it wasn’t the best wine, the price was extremely reasonable ($19), so I wasn’t upset.. Most imported beers were pints in a can and ranged from about 5-7$.
The only food we ordered was the small charcuterie board to snack on, but was pleased at the selection and variety on the board- 3 types of cheese, 2 meats, olives, blueberries, strawberries, chocolate, mixed nuts. For $16 I thought it was a great deal. We didn’t come too hungry, but next time we definitely will. The food that came out looked very tasty and the prices were good.

Cool local bar located below Old Towne Social house. Cool garage/basement atmosphere with alot of old school beer advertisement stuff. Worth going to this local hang if you’re in town. Didn’t try the food, but the menu loose really good. Will try next visit. Local bands play here often.

Rocky Mt is growing into such a fun destination and The Alley Cat fits in beautifully. Cozy and jazzy club feel of old town Chicago, but warm & inviting as The South should be! Definitely recommend!!
