Eatery inside The Alley bowling facility offering smoked BBQ meat specialties & homestyle sides.

Review for bbq only. Brisket was fantastic. Ribs, however, were not great. Dry, flavorless. I think they didn’t smoke them long enough or on low enough heat. They were tough and chewy. Baby backs should fall off the bone. No smoke ring.

We stopped in with family members to bowl a game as they had never experienced candlepin bowling before. We enjoyed the bowling but it took forever to order drinks at our lane. When they finally arrived we were almost done bowling so we took them to our table for dinner.
The inside dining area was nicely decorated and pleasantly quiet. The new outside patio area with fire pits looked amazing. It’s nice to see the much needed updates that they have made to the place.
As far as dinner goes… The food was simply delicious. We enjoyed a variety of selections from the fried pickles, cheese burger, BBQ BLT, brisket sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. The portions were filling. The service was horrible. It took some time to get the appetizer, we had to go to the bar to get a few waters as there was no staff to be found. Our meals came out a few at a time. Trying to follow proper etiquette we were waiting for all meals to be served before digging in, which ended up with a few being cold by the time they all arrived.
It’s unfortunate and we do understand that it was busy and finding good help on the Cape during the summer months is hard but customer service is key in the industry.
We will return in the fall when it quiets down again.

The place opened up at 4 on a Saturday and as soon as the open sign was put out, people were there bowling and ordering drinks and food.
Very lively atmosphere with people of all ages. Great spot to watch a game with bar and table tops as well as bowl and grab some food.
Ordered some wings, which were very tasty. Also, I got a BBQ 2 meat platter. Ribs and brisket. The brisket was good portion and cooked well. Good smokiness and tenderness. Good sauce selection too. Ribs were a bit overcooked and dry. I’m not too picky so the seasoning and sauces made it half decent but otherwise would try the pulled pork next time.
Sides were fine. Coleslaw alright but Brussels were good.
All around reasonable prices and an affordable activity+food option for the area. Would recommend and will be back!

We just held our company Christmas party at The Alley, awesome time! The BBQ was excellent and the staff was kind and attentive. The owner was very helpful in helping plan the event and food. Bowling with the whole team was a great way to have fun and be competitive with the guys! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An incredibly fun atmosphere and such great staff. We hosted our night-before wedding party here and had an absolute blast — Dave was super accommodating and the bar/waitstaff could not have been better. Our guests have not stopped talking about it. Thank you!

Great, laid back atmosphere. Food was really good. Service was slow, but it looked like there was only 1 server working for the whole place.
Our only complaint is that at least 4 of the arcade games (which is like half of what they have) were out of order with no warning/signs on them. Had we known, we wouldn’t have put so much money on the game card. Felt kind of scammy. Also the guy working at the counter that collects tickets was rude and impatient with my kid (he is 5 and there was no one else waiting, no reason to be impatient).

What a fantastic find!! Great food, fun, and family time! A classic candle pin bowling alley with a delicious BBQ restaurant is a perfect match. We were here with a large group that ranged from age 3 to 81 and everyone had an amazing time bowling. This combined with a menu filled with options that can satisfy a number of different tastes and preferences makes The Alley a special place when looking for a break from beach activities. Additionally, the staff is so kind and accommodating it made our experience there so enjoyable and easy. In particular, the gentleman working the shoe counter was so great with the kids, he turned their great time into an extra special outing. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they were open even a couple hours earlier in the day!!

Beautifully presented bbq served outdoors on nicely spaced out picnic tables. Side dishes were excellent, especially the potatoes au gratin. The kale had lots of bacon. But the meat itself was ordinary… tender but not the bbq experience we hoped for. Sauces were tasty but far too sweet. Friendly service. Extensive beer menu.

Have had the brisket sandwich several times. Was raving about it to a friend so we ordered sandwiches to go. More fat than meat. Maybe I’ll go back in the winter. Should have read the reviews! And the sweet potato fries were just ok

Was looking for a local BBQ joint while on vacation and not many were around so we drove 40 minutes here from our hotel and boy was it worth it! It’s been so difficult finding a place to eat and entertain a toddler. This place was phenomenal. Had a blast bowling and being able to order food while playing was a game changer. Waitress was amazing; came right over and made sure our drinks came out upon ordering them and our food came out when we were finishing up our game. My only negative about the entire experience is the price of bowling ($48). I haven’t been bowling since I was a kid so maybe this is a typical price but I was shocked when he told me the total. Our meal for the 3 of us was cheaper than this ($42). Would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you have little kids.
