Had my husband pick up a couple smash burgers on his way home from work. As I was eating I thought it tasted weird so I cut it in half and to my surprise both burgers are raw. It’s a shame the we got it a couple times and was good but for the price that isn’t a mistake we’ll risk again. I literally almost threw up. it’s a smash burger they literally cooked the outside and left the inside raw. It’s Sunday would call and complain but the server and bartender didn’t do it and by the time I ate the kitchen closed and if the cook was willing to serve me this I have no faith the next would be any better so didn’t Bother it’s shame I like the last burger but these were so gross just make sure you check your food before you eat here

Stopped by for lunch to check out Alibi Tavern. It’s a great neighborhood pub. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The menu selection is what you would expect with daily specials. What I didn’t expect was to get REAL thick carved turkey when I ordered the turkey avocado panini! I loved the crispy crinkle fries that come with the sandwiches. My fellow diner had a stuffed quohoag off the special menu and the smash burger – both were really good. Only a handful of basic beers on tap. The prices were very reasonable for the meal. We sat at the bar and service was excellent.

I was on a double date here and the staff was so kind and quick with service. The food was fantastic and I am an extremely picky eater. I loved everything! We all did. 3 of us got smash burgers and it was worth it! It was well prepared, crispy fries, perfect onion rings, and best of all CLEAN silverware and tables. No sticky menus. Perfect place for a date night or if you’re having a bad day. 10/10 recommend! I’ve gone here a few times and had the same lady take our orders and her service never changes, just an awesome human being! Dark hair and circular glasses. I can’t rave enough!

We have been coming here very frequent over the last 3 months. The food is fantastic for a reasonabl price. The drink prices for a margarita was a bit steep,$14.50. This makes me think about whether I return or not. I really enjoy a cocktail with my meal but not for that price. $10 sounds more reasonable.

Food is inconsistent and bland. Unfortunately there are not a lot of places in Whitman to order from. we have tried to give it a shot about 5 times now (first time was ok) but it just gets worse every time. Cold food, portions different sizes, packaged different, under cooked etc.
I called a little while back around dinner time to order 2 of their “tonights specials” that were on their Facebook page (posted 2 hrs before I called) I Was told they don’t have those items on the menu. When I explained that they were on the specials post from that day, I was told that I was looking at the wrong day. When I explained that the post was from 2 hours ago I was again told with an attitude that I was looking at the wrong day.

Great local spot! Nice laid-back atmosphere with friendly service. The food is always fresh and delicious, portions are generous, and the drinks are always on point. Perfect place for a casual meal or a night out. Highly recommend!

Visited for lunch this afternoon and glad we did. We all were hungry after a round of golf and unsure of the area but came across the Alibi… while the name caught our eye, so didn’t the menu. Walking in we were pleasantly greeted and sat immediately. She offered us specials on top of the generous menu they provide daily. We started with drinks and apps followed by entrees and everything came in a timely manner. The turkey was fresh baked turkey (like I would make on thanksgiving), onion rings fresh and cooked to perfection, and the pork tenderloin tips were tender and the best I’ve ever had. Alanna was our server- she was attentive, kind, and answered all of our questions. The prices are affordable (especially being fresh) and generously portioned. Our group gets together once a week for golf but we have all agreed to end the day at the Alibi moving forward. Thank you for a great end to our day, we will see you again soon.
