Man oh man where do I begin… my girlfriend and I came in today and were greeted by a friendly staff who seated us outside. The patio is so nice. All of the drinks we ordered were top notch and we got to enjoy the live jazz which is apparently every Thursday. What really did it for me was one of the wait staff came over to us and gave us bug spray to help fight off some pesky mosquitos. Whole experience was a 10/10 and it is easily my favorite place to drink now in DC. Can’t speak highly enough of how awesome the service was and the overall quality of the place.

NOTE 20% service fee on top pricey cocktails and appetizers. Cocktails were oddly sweet compared to description, tuna wraps had very little tuna drenched in flavorless mayo (not spicy at all), inside was simply a dark basement space with a white rabbit painting. Service was normal and band was good, but I would suggest skipping this Georgetown experience. And again, be aware that there is a 20% service fee in addition to cocktails and food.

This historic secluded georgetown location was exactly what we were looking for to host our welcome party and kick off our wedding weekend. The food for the seated dinner was delicious and the set up of the space for the cocktail hour made the night flow. The usage of three spaces into one made the space feel roomy for the large amount of people we had. Would highly recommend if you are looking for the DC feel of history combined with modern elegance.

Well it only took two years from my first visit to return … and that was my loss. This remains one of the top five favorite places for a classic bourbon cocktail. What kind? Any kind. In a night that included here, Bourbon and Harold Blacks, this one was my favorite. And trust me. Those other places are five star recommend as well. So consider this a five + rating.

The staff at the Speakeasy were rude to us and the service was non-existent. We had to change location and went to the rooftop instead. The service up there was simply fantastic but the food menu is very limited. I think it is just a place to snack, drink and have convis which makes sense. The drinks are top tier though. Will definitely be going to the rooftop again, the speakeasy basement, never again.

Super cute speakeasy. Reservations are necessary. The bartender was a joy and catered cocktails to your liking. The lamb chops were phenomenal. I would never have guessed adding Thai red curry to lamb chops would be “the way.” Can’t wait to return for jazz night.

The place has a nice view and ambiance. We decided to only get a few drinks and we were unimpressed by the cocktails. The quality and presentation of the cocktails did not match the price (especially the espresso martini). We came from another restaurant in the area before coming here with similarly priced cocktails and I felt that the Alex at the Graham did not deliver.

Nice cocktail place! I had the seafood paella, truffle fries and couple of their drinks. Food was just OK with g’town price tag on it. I really liked my drink: caviar and pearls, I was worried to mix fish eggs into my drink at first but it really brought the flavor out. Great service. I would go back for a date night. Great atmosphere. The bathtub drinks were just too cute.

The Bartender (Storm) made the experience even better. Very attentive to his crowd, I was made a special drink, it was so good. He had us laughing the whole time being there. The shrimp flatbread was good, and the lamb wasn’t bad, I had better.

For the hotel to be as pretty as it was upon interest entrance the customer service was horrible. Had a reservation for the Alex that I booked a week ago. Got there only to find out the reservation was canceled unbeknownst to me for a private party. Instead of saying I’m so sorry next time you come drinks are on us I’m so sorry next time you come dinner is on us so sorry for any of the convenience all they could do was push the blame. Finally spoke to someone who had the audacity to come down with a security guard like something was going to happen hello we’re in a classy environment what exactly did you think was going to happen. So sad was really looking forward to the live jazz band but unfortunately I will not return I don’t know why we have a pandemic and then all of a sudden customer service goes out the window
