The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! My party ordered the oysters, calamari, and the rock crab seafood boil.
The oysters were cleaned very well (i.e. they were not overly sandy/gritty), and they were VERY fresh! The calamari was lightly breaded and fried to perfection. The seafood boil…OMG, CHEF’S KISS!! Seasoned.To.Perfection. My mouth is watering just writing this review!
Last, but not least, the playlist was top-tier.

Ms Kim’s Seafood Bowl (I am probably getting the full name wrong) is the best! Highly suggest ordering an additional side or rice. It is so tasty. It’s not very spicy if you don’t eat the jalapeños. But if you want that kick, then dive freely into them!
Also got the grilled Mahi tacos. Small and tasty. And yes, I used my rice for the soup (hence why I suggest ordering an additional side). We honestly needed more rive. It is that good.
Clam chowder is also delicious!

Perfect spot for me and my toddler to enjoy lunch! It was casual enough to enjoy and yet a picture perfect location enjoying the breeze and the ocean views. The catch of the day was fresh and the vegetables and salad were amazing sides- felt very refreshed after lunch! Came back again the next day!

Wonderful food, great atmosphere and stellar service all for a more than reasonable price. I ordered the Calamari, Shrimp and Chips and a strawberry lemonade. The Calamari was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, with great flavor. The same can be said of the Shrimp and Chips, with great flavor and well seasoned. The portions for both were an excellent value, well worth the price. The Strawberry Lemonade was very good as well. With all of that said, the service was truly exceptional. Steve greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door and answered any questions that I and other customers had, as well as ensuring customers got the most value from their experience. Steve was eager to help and go the extra mile, clearly taking pride in the work he does. Overall I had an excellent experience dining at The Albright, and will be back without a doubt the next time I’m in Santa Monica.

Worth the $89 I spent. We live in KS so seafood is sketchy. We got the lobster roll and the crab. Delicious! The staff were very sweet and helped us crack the crab claws. I almost got the clam chowder which someone ended up getting, and it was huge (they were at another table tho so no pic)! If I come back, would definitely take another visit to this restaurant.

Nice place right by the pier. Love the color scheme. The portions are quite big and the flavor is delightful. A great experience! Definitely would recommend.

Ok bottom line is we are from Boston and we wanted clam chowder. The chowder is all right, not very bad not amazing… Definitely not worth the $18 For the bread bowl. To be honest, I really like the atmosphere and the location of the restaurant. There’s not much service to speak of you kind of place your order at the counter and then walk up to get your food and sit wherever you like… But it’s nice. The reason I’m writing this review is for this ceviche. It is truly awful do not order. Very dry and tasteless, and the chips are weird, they do serve Jack and Coke in a can, which was a nice fine can’t complain there. I will say I probably won’t come back here unless I’m out with friends

Nice location right on the Pier. Relaxed atmosphere was nice. Easy ordering at the counter and short wait for food. Ordered the fish and chips. The fish was so buttery and fresh tasting! A large amount of fries and additional coleslaw was a great addition.

I got the spicy seafood soup after reading several good reviews on it. If you are expecting Korean seafood soup, this is not for you. The first bite tasted like jalapeño water. No authentic Korean soup is going to have cilantro and tomatoes in it. It was packed with seafood, which tasted really, really fresh, but the soup was not what I was expecting at all. There was no depth or savory flavor in the soup. The rice tasted like it was made out of instant rice box… Very disappointing, but I should’ve known to not expect authentic Korean taste at a non-Korean restaurant. My friends ordered fish and chips, which they said was good. Another friend ordered the lobster roll, and it was pretty underwhelming. I think you are paying for the experience though of eating right on the pier. It had a nice seating area and a great view. It was nice to go as a tourist, but I probably wouldn’t go back for the food.

We had lunch at The Albright, and the food definitely matched the beautiful ocean view. The lobster was fresh and perfectly grilled, served with butter and a touch of lemon — simple but full of flavor. The clam chowder in the bread bowl was creamy and rich, though a bit too thick for my taste after it cooled down.
The atmosphere was lively and casual, perfect for a sunny afternoon by the pier. Service was friendly but a bit slow since it was busy, so expect to relax and enjoy the sea breeze while waiting.
Overall, it’s a great spot for seafood lovers — not fancy dining, but hearty coastal comfort food with a view that’s hard to beat.
