I thought $8 was expensive for a large iced cold brew coffee until I saw the size of the cup. The coffee here is delicious and fresh. They have a great looking menu. Very friendly service. I’m only sorry it took me so long to visit this shop. They also have some cool looking gifts for sale. I pass this place every time I walk to the post office. So many items to come back and try.

A true Alaskan gem!
We absolutely loved our visit to The Alaskan Coffee Bean! The coffee was spot on—smooth, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for lingering and chatting with our group. We ended up staying a while just soaking it all in.
The shop also had the cutest little gifts. I picked up a beautiful ornament for our Christmas tree and was blown away to find something as unique as glacier water soap! Such thoughtful, local treasures.
Best of all, we got to chat with the owners—genuinely kind, welcoming, and hard-working people. You can feel the love they pour into their place. It’s a small business run by locals who truly care about providing a great experience for both residents and travelers.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Make it a stop if you’re anywhere nearby!

This place had a crowd when we got here so there’s no doubt this is a staple coffee place. They have a very appetizing selection of loose leaf teas. I wasn’t really a fan of the matcha here, but maybe because I felt the disapproving eyes of the yoga moms at the table over passing judgement on my soul.

Great little place! Reminded me of a café I ran in Chicago. Lox bagel was on point, and the large iced latte was a definite eye opener!!! Twas a weekend treat, as I did get some pricier items. But treating one’s self is worth it! Some outside seating like a picnic table would be super beneficial. Due to limited seating and being busy, but I found a quiet spot to enjoy my breakfast, it is Alaska after all!

Little cute place where to grab a good coffee!
I’ve been there twice, I took multiple coffees, and once a vegetarian burrito, really good and tasty.
There’s no plugs if you want to charge your phone for example easily. The place is full of souvenirs of Denali, not really into local artists, more into tourists stuff.

Absolutely amazing coffee! We had a lovely time sitting down and recharging a bit. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and they also offer a wide selection of snacks. The biggest temptation, though, was their collection of hats and neck warmers – I simply couldn’t resist.

A Hidden Coffee Gem in Healy!!
I was pleasantly surprised to find this charming coffee spot in the remote town of Healy, Alaska, near Denali. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming decor instantly made me feel at home. The coffee was exceptional—rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. It’s a must-stop for any coffee lover exploring the area. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

Visited here on our way through to Fairbanks it was awesome! I got an iced pumpkin spice latte and everything bagel, both were fantastic. Quick service, very COVID safe which was appreciated. Cute gifts and nice recycled products. They also had very nice Halloween decorations.
