Fun, local place. Good place to get the local vibe, enjoy a meal, and relax. Staff are attentive and friendly. Innovative menu combined with standard California fare. Good draft beer selection, bar and tables, and TVs and sports. Limited outdoor seating. Good for a casual date, solo date, and everyday meal. Check them out.

Great little neighborhood pub and grille with woodfired pizza and a great beer selection as highlights. Liked it on my first visit and have grown to love it — the vibe, the people, the service, the food. Located in the heart of old town Seal Beach, this is a well-kept secret by the locals.

This place was AMAZING!! I don’t rate often, but I felt this place deserved it. Me and my mom shared a small pizza (Brussel sprout and bacon) and chicken pesto sandwich. It was delicious to say the absolute least. The crust on the pizza was thin, crisp, and the slices weren’t too big. The sandwich’s ciabatta bread was fluffy and buttery, which was the perfect balance for the large piece of chicken. And I just have to add, as a ranch girl, both dishes were so good I didn’t even use my ranch.

First visit, recommended by a local Seal Beach business, glad we went here.
I had the meatloaf sandwich, on the “special” menu. Nice thick slice of meatloaf, served hot, chewy Parmesan coated grilled sourdough bread, mildly spicy sauce. The fries are the skinny ones, just average.
Very good, friendly service. Would give this place 4.5 stars, if I could.
Clean restroom.
Recommended.

My husband and I didn’t realize but we came for happy hour, it was after 2:00. We each got the 805 beer which was fantastic. We got the discounted meals. my husband got the sliders ($9) which were delicious and I got the buffalo chicken and french fries for $6 happy hour price. we enjoyed our food and we’d come back if we lived in the area.

The service was quick and our waitress checked in with us often. Fish tacos were good but tortillas were dry and tough. The pesto chicken pasta was tasty and my friend loved it.

I work around the corner been able to eat here a few times. I usually sit at the bar. Sometimes I feel like the bartender can read my mind. I’ve tried the fried chicken sandwich, sausage pizza which they roll the dough and put in the fire pizza oven. I’ve had the burgers and like a child the buffalo chicken tenders with fries. Everyone here is friendly and the food is great bar food. I’ll definitely be back for more

The Abbey is a delightful find in Seal Beach. We loved sitting outside and eating and meeting the people and their dogs on the patio.

The inside seating is good with a nice Cheers-style neighborhood bar.

The service is excellent and the servers were perky and helpful.

I ordered the healthy artichoke and spinach salad. The dressing was excellent. My husband enjoyed the turkey burger.

We highly recommend this hidden gem.
