the coffee itself was good. however the cup was horrible. the lid came off as soon as i picked it up and it wouldnt go back on because the cup rim was wet and soggy. causing for the coffee to spill all over my cupholder/seats.

I’ve found The Abbey to be one of the best spots on the west end of Belleville to get a good drink or snack and just relax. I’ve stopped in here a handful of times since my high school years and every time I’m satisfied with the experience. Staff are professional and courteous, the space is kept clean and cute, and I always think about returning upon leaving. For my most recent visit, I enjoyed the patio on a Tuesday morning in June. It’s decked out with garden decorations, a water bowl for furry friends, a fireplace, and lights hanging above. Beside the main patio is a wooded area with picnic benches. The Abbey hosts live music every Thursday night and it draws a sizable crowd.

Super charming cafe in Belleville. Has a large menu as well for breakfast and lunch, and a bar. Good place to meet someone or go to read or work. There’s a small stage so I imagine they do events. There’s also a small conference room you can reserve for 10-15 people. It’s free as long as you order food or drinks.

It’s been a decade now since I’ve been here because I was a student at the neighboring high school down the street back in 2016-2020. I have fond memories of the food, staff, atmosphere and spending time with friends. Happy to say that even though it’s been 10 years, it’s just as amazing as I remember!

Got an iced latte, terrible taste unfortunately. The man behind the counter was less than friendly. It’s clear they have their regulars that they know and if you’re not one of them, they don’t really give you the time of day. The inside of the building is nice, but to spend over 7 dollars for a small latte that tastes burnt and has zero flavor I don’t believe I’ll be back

We have been here twice and love it. The food is always good as well as the coffee. I do wish they had breve’s on the coffee menu. I’ve had the hot roast beef and the BLT and both were excellent. The space is clean and hip with tables, couches and a patio.

The frittata is amazing. Cooked perfectly, packed with cheese and sausage. Amazingly fresh and not overly sweet cinnamon roll. A delicious chai latte with one pump of vanilla was devoured by my children after asking to taste my drink. The breakfast panini was not my favorite so next time I’ll just get 2 toes off frittatas.
