ICONIC…I’m going to start and end by saying that. I absolutely do not use that word lightly, so here’s why I bring it to the table.(pun intended)
Since the first day The 78 Pub at This Guy’s Pizza opened in my neighborhood in 2009 (so close I can literally smell the pizzas wafting into my windows as I’m typing this), I’ve watched this place grow—pizza by pizza, expansion by expansion—through the epic work ethic and the blood, sweat & tears of Patrick and his dedicated staff.
The classic food, drinks, and atmosphere are always on point—live entertainment, arcade games, and rotating specials that keep you anticipating what is new whenever you go. (wings, burgers and pizzas are top notch)
As they creep up on TWO DECADES of dedication to their craft and the community, the heart of this place is permanently engraved into Johnston, Rhode Island history. Cheers and thank you Patrick, I know that it’s only just begun‼️

Delicious pizza, and trivia nights are so fun! It’s a very laid back place where you can unwind after work with good food, maybe a drink, or play some air hockey in their game room! I hope they get a skeeball machine one day

This Guy’s Pizza is our families go to for local great food. Their entire staff is friendly and always attentive. We have had private parties and events there many times. I have been a customer of This Guys for 16 years and have watched them grow through great service and having an owner that truly cares. Patrick is the absolute best.

Recently I’ve had some things come up that I submitted a review for. The owner messaged me and I explained my concerns. As someone who orders from there at least 2 to 3 times a month I appreciated the level of attentiveness he had. I have since ordered from there and have been nothing but pleased with them. I am having a birthday party next weekend and would love to order from you guys! Could someone please message me so I can coordinate the best way to do that??

A new found gem. Drove by for years but never stopped in since I don’t live close. I attended a baseball celebration at the pub. It was great. Food was delicious. Drinks were cold and bartender was excellent. Never had an empty glass. Played some Keno while enjoying the whole experience. I was completely satisfied. I was reluctant to order because there was just too many good options to choose from. I was recommended to try the “pickle me this flatbread pizza”. I wasn’t even hungry at this point but I said why not…. I’ll have one of those and an order of mozzarella sticks. It was absolutely delicious. Of coarse I couldn’t eat it all so I took it home to the wifey. She ate it and it sparked a whole new interest. I am writing this review tonight after we ordered takeout and the wifey raved about the pizza once again!!!! I don’t often post reviews but this establishment earned it. I got one of my favorite salads in a wrap!!!! Most places don’t even offer it. My kids got the chicken fingers and fries. Great feedback from them as well. I am looking forward to trying other items from the menu because I love trying new things all the time. I also noticed they have Karaoke on a certain night. I will definitely be trying to get together with some friends for a fun night out with good food, drinks, and a lot of laughs.

Love the pizza ! It’s good to eat in or take out . They have games to entertain your kids or you and your friends .For those of you who love spicy wings the Hot hot wings had a nice kick. I always get XL size pizza and it never goes to waste , it’s so good.

If I could give a zero, I would! When the place first opened, my husband and I would get pizza once a week. Either go there with our friends or get it to go. Then we started getting our delivers cold, we gave it a few more tries, thinking it was just a bad day. NOPE, IT JUST KEPT HAPPENING. We literally live no more than 5 mins away! This past weekend we went because our friends had gotten a lottery ticket for the Patriots game. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! SERVICE, horrible, food even worse..everything was cold for the 2 items(a pizza and tacos w/FF) of the 4 we ordered, it literally took another 15/20 mins for me and my friend to get our sandwiches, even though everything was ordered all at once! BEER wasnt cold, obviously the cooler for the draft beer either doesn’t work properly or it needs to be turned down, nothing worse than warm beer, oh except COLD food!
