Being our first time here I wasn’t really sure what they had but knew we’d find something good to eat. Got seated right away outside at a 4 seat high top but should’ve been a 2 seater anyways we made it work! Even before our waiter got here another guy brought us out some popcorn. Kind of old but nice touch,
Started out with the grouper bites and they were really tasty, fresh and came with tartar sauce however I think cocktail sauce might’ve been a better choice. Get them !
Everyone got the meatloaf , burger and coconut shrimp.
The meatloaf was really good, huge size and only needed more gravy. The veggies were very good also. And the onion straws on top were a great addition.
The burger was super ! Big, juicy and seasoned and cooked just right. The beef tallow fries were cooked perfectly and if you’ve never had beef tallow fries you don’t know what you’re missing!
The coconut shrimp were giant, and not overcooked and definitely not overbreaded to make them look bigger! Plus being butterflied really gave it a classy look. We also got the brussels sprouts which were great and a side of truffle fries. Their cole slaw leaves something to be desired. But it was more of a garnish than a side.
All in all it was really a great time, great food and great laughs !

Upscale casual is how I would describe The 239 Naples.
We got here when they opened at 11:30 and it filled up quickly!
Terri was still in breakfast mode and ordered The 239 Breakfast with eggs, toast, bacon, and brussel potatoes…the bacon and brussels potatoes were top notch and the toast was a step up from the ordinary as well. She didn’t let me try the eggs but they must’ve been good!
The Double Burger I ordered was reportedly voted the best in SouthWest Florida so that’s why I went with it…I can’t say it was the best Burger I’ve ever eaten but I can probably say its probably the healthiest Double Burger I’ve ever eaten…with the reputation of The 239 being a farm to table, organic, healthy option establishment I’d wager it was. It was very good and I’d definitely order it again.
The Better Than Beignets were outta site! Crispy exterior and hot and fluffy inside..matched up with the Caramel Toffee dipping sauce recommended by Jeremy, our server, they were fantastic!

We used to absolutely love this place. We would even go out of our way to come here, and we live all the way in Punta Gorda. Unfortunately, Valentine’s Day was a complete mess.

It honestly felt like opening night — like nobody knew what was going on. We could hear a man with an earpiece, who appeared to be a manager, give away our food to another table. He was asking the couple behind us if the food was theirs, and we had to step in and say, “Hi, we also ordered that.” It was awkward and frustrating.

Our waitress came by multiple times asking, “Oh, you didn’t get your food yet?” for dishes we were still waiting on. It just added to the confusion.

We were seated directly in the sun. I completely understand reservations and busy holidays — I’ve worked at this exact restaurant before — but the umbrellas could have at least been set up and ready. We ended up trying to move them ourselves, which isn’t safe, and no one stopped to help us for about 20 minutes.

My boyfriend even had to ask for a rose — we were never offered one. The whole night just felt off.

When the bill came, it was shocking considering the quality. The steak was unseasoned, the vegetables were undercooked, and the food was warm at best — not hot. The “crispy” chicken wings didn’t even look fully cooked.

We did express our concerns to our waitress, Marykate. Both my boyfriend and I mentioned that we weren’t happy with certain dishes, but it felt like our comments were brushed off, as if we were just sharing opinions rather than genuine complaints. She honestly seemed like she didn’t want to be there.

Getting a refill was nearly impossible, and when we did, it was poured over melted ice.

Overall, this was such a disappointment. We’ve had amazing experiences here in the past — easily 10/10 — which makes this even more surprising. Sadly, this visit was a 1/10.

Barely any popcorn was offered, and the “ garlic bread “ is literally white bread with garlic powder on it it tastes like. Very very uncrispy wings pictured

Outstanding experience thanks to Josh at Restaurant 239!

Our visit to Restaurant 239 in Naples was exceptional, and a huge part of that was Josh. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. His knowledge of the menu was impressive—he offered great recommendations, explained dishes perfectly, and timed everything flawlessly.

Josh struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our meal. His professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail elevated an already fantastic dining experience. You can tell he truly cares about guests and takes pride in what he does. Thank you

All 5 stars for this place!

The food and service were excellent. We sat outside with our dog, and one of the waitresses kindly brought water for him, which was a really nice touch.

We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. He was very friendly and polite and didn’t even want us—or anyone else—to know he was the owner, which says a lot about his character.

Overall, great food and great service. Highly recommend The 239 at Mercato!

Hands down the best lunch deal in Naples. The $19.99 special is an absolute steal for the quality of food and the chic atmosphere. Portions were generous, the service was top-notch, and you can’t beat the 239 vibe. Highly recommend if you want a high-end lunch without the high-end price tag.

We were excited to try this place, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the start. After being seated, it took so long for anyone to acknowledge us that we honestly started wondering if it was a joke—like we were being punked or the staff had a bet on how long we’d wait. When someone finally came over for drink orders, we were randomly given popcorn with no explanation.

The drinks eventually arrived, and mine was easily the worst Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. At that point, we decided it wasn’t worth staying. We paid for our drinks and left to find somewhere else to eat. Definitely not the experience we expected.

Pricey, but good food and drinks. Enjoyed the coconut shrimp (quite large). Happy hour does have options!
100% beachy vibes but not by the water – space to sit inside or out. Staff friendly & service fast.

Had a great experience at The 239! JP is great, and so on top of it with recommendations and service!
We came for happy hour and tried multiple items, including drinks, and we were happy with all of it. Especially love that they don’t use seed oils, as I don’t eat them, which makes it difficult to eat out.
The house made ranch is so fresh, and was a huge hit at our table.

For the price overall this place is average. Our table had burgers and chicken sand-which’s and while the burgers were pretty decent but quite pricy the chicken sand-which was laughable…it came out with what looked like a chicken tender for the filet, the smallest I have ever seen before at a restaurant.

I will say that the manager was quick to fix the issue and bring a new piece of chicken but I’m surprised a cook would think that was acceptable to use for a sandwhich that cost twenty bucks… The tomatoes on all the sandwhiches were very mushy and thin, the popcorn tasted stale, and the blue cheese dressing was very watered down.

That said the fries, rest of the burgers, sides and sauce for the chicken sandwhich were pretty good but just on the pricy side for what you get. Cool spot and the staff were nice and I like what they are trying to do without using seed oils. Hopefully they can tighten up on their quality issues.
