The 1945 is my favorite place to eat! Luckily it’s just a few minutes from home! I have never had a better burger or pizza! They’re steaks, bbq chicken, hamburger steak, wings, buffalo chicken dip, shrimp jammers, grilled chicken, cheesecake, biscuits and gravy.. everything I’ve tried really is delicious! Friendly & attentive staff, casual dining, restaurant with optional outdoor seating upstairs and a bar down stairs. Great lunch specials as well. Can’t say enough good things and glad they’re here, just what Trenton has been needing.

This place is situated with a gorgeous view. The inside is fairly nice and has a section outside for seating. The waitress was very sweet and really tried her best. It seems the problem is with the cook. I ordered their BLT special, which comes with pimento cheese and a fried green tomato instead of a regular sliced tomato. When my sandwich arrived, it had zero tomato. My BLT had no tomato. I asked the waitress and she said they are out of green tomatoes so the cook just left the tomato off. She brought me a tomato slice, which I had to cut myself. My side, fried okra, was cold. My husband’s club sandwich had no mayo, which he specifically asked for when ordering. His fries were very good and I suspect the hot fries were the reason my okra was cold. We were pretty perturbed by this point. The waitress took 10% off our bill. We definitely won’t be back until they hire a cook who can cook AND read.

So disappointed in the food. Went after church. My husband had the fish and looked like it had been hanged outside to dry. One small piece some old looking Cole slaw and fries and no hishpuppies. I had a hot dog with slaw. Not too many places can mess up a hot dog but you sure did. Look freezer burn and tough. Same day old slaw and dry up ketchup packets for the hand full of onion rings. It’s a beautiful golf course but you need to over haul the menu and a better cook. The waitress was doing her best.

Grilled chicken breast and it was maybe a 1/4 of a breast and overcooked. Husband had a hamburger steak and it was a small over cooked hamburger patty. We gave them a 2nd chance but will be our last. Don’t waist your time or money. The view from the deck is beautiful, but that was about it

I can’t speak for the food, but it was very disappointing to drive up on Sunday, April 27, 2025 to find the restaurant closed. The hours online were listed as open from 12-5pm, as well as the sign on the door that was flipped to closed. We are traveling for a wedding and the bride and groom were going to treat us to lunch. If you’re going to close, at least update your brick and mortar so people will know. Everything we’ve looked at lists this business as open during these hours. Thank you! Beautiful course, we hope to come back to an open restaurant soon.

Steak were frozen. They were burnt in process of being cooked. They blamed mgt for not thawing steaks.
Did not even have buns for hamburgers. No beer sales due to what manger said that owner did not renew license??? 2 couples behind us steaks were burnt, tough, not seasoned , an edible !! It’s sad!!!
Dogs did not even wanna eat it !!

Stopped at restaurant for lunch after round of golf. It was terrible! They were out of almost everything including French Fries, Reuben sandwich fixins and some beers. Supposedly Hurricane Helene had delayed deliveries. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on that, but food was the worst. Chicken tenders, chicken sandwich, onion rings, fried okra were fried to a crisp. Chicken was as tough as it could get! Quesadillas were just melted blobs of cheese. At least for lunch in this area I’d suggest Jefferson’s or Uncle Lar’s.
