The owners, Dave and Kylie Deimler wanted to create an unforgettable, yet historic, upscale dining experience to all of its patrons and visitors. Both Dave and Kylie have spent more than 35+ years in the restaurant business, as they also own ‘Babe’s Grill House’ in Palmyra, PA. It has been their dream to create these unique spots, attracting various crowds of people and bringing them together to have an enjoyable and memorable experience! Dave and Kylie want The 1762 Kitchen and Cocktails at the Warwick Hotel to be a destination, a space that draws out-of-towners to Hummelstown, a place that local residents can be proud of!

We were looking for a place with good cocktails and decent prices for dinner. We decided to try this place. It’s in the heart of downtown Hummelstown and a very quaint spot. The cocktail (hot toddy) was just so so, but my husband loved his old fashioned. The mexican corn dip was delicious as an appetizer. My husband said his burger was fantastic. I got fish and chips and my daughter got chicken and waffles. We both felt both were decent, but not great. The place was packed, so it must be a popular place to go. We’d definitely try it again.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner at The 1762. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and we even had a nice chat with the owner David. For those like my partner looking for gluten free, the menu offered plenty of options. The Thai calamari was very tasty, loved the slaw it came mixed with. The bison burger was top notch but the real winner was the salmon filet, crispy sear on the outside, perfectly done inside. The mashed potatoes and carrots were a tasty pairing.

We were looking for a last minute dinner option and found this place online. We got there early enough for happy hour special on drinks and apps. I really liked my rum old fashioned, which was a sweeter version of one of my favorite drinks. My wife got a Hot Toddy. No one at the table liked it very much. We did enjoy the street corn dip and my dinner, the 62 burger, was excellent. My wife and daughter liked their meals but they weren’t as pumped about them as I was. Overall, it was good but didn’t really stand out from other similar places in any particular way.

Saw this while at a conference in Hershey. Parking is right behind the establishment. Was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome right away. Bartender was friendly and attentive. The owner was on site and we chatted a bit. Great guy! They had great happy hour specials on food and drinks. To top it all of, the meals were incredible. So fresh and tasty! I feel like I’m gushing about this place which I don’t normally do but I really enjoyed myself. Restroom was clean. I will be back the next time I am in this part of the world.

From the moment I booked the reservation, it was evident how much pride Dave has in his restaurant. 1726 did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful when making selections. Dave came and introduced himself and made sure we felt welcome. The food was absolutely delicious! This party of 8 were all pleased with our food and dessert. Lots of gluten free options, organic, farm to table. Bonus: We went on a Thursday and Thursday is trivia night! So much fun and a great atmosphere.

We visited the 1762 for the first time on a Tuesday evening. We sat at a high top in the bar area. It was a weeknight and not busy but we sat for 10 minutes before we were greeted/ offered drinks. We both ordered a caesar salad that had a $2 up charge. The salad was SO dry. Like 1 tsp of dressing if that. I would have told our waitress but she was nowhere to be found most of time. We both got steaks (sirloin and filet) and they were ok, nothing special for what we paid for them. I did really enjoy the creamy Parmesan orzo, though. We had 2 meals and 3 drinks and our bill was $130. All 3 of our drinks were the same but all tasted different (unbalanced). All in all, I would go back, but definitely not a first choice for me. There’s a lot they could improve on.

The mashed potatoes served with my entree were creamy and tasty, as were the shaved Brussels sprouts and six grilled shrimp which accompanied my sirloin steak, which was advertised as coming with a blue cheese sauce, which I didn’t get and was too tired to ask about after enjoying some of their happy hour cocktails!

Found this spot through the Find Me Gluten-Free app, and it did NOT disappoint! The owner even stopped by our table to introduce himself—he’s GF too, so you already know the food is going to hit. I wish I had snapped more pics of the appetizers, because everything was amazing. It’s been forever since I’ve had gluten-free calamari and it was a full 10/10. And the crab cake meal? Straight fire.

Food was awesome. Service was phenomenal. Owner even said hello and was very personable. Showed up without a reservation but they were able to find a table. Burger was cooked well tasted great. Dessert menu was extensive and caught my eye so even had dessert. Would definitely go back. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would recommend.

our food was exceptional but i really wanted to compliment the owner of this establishment. it looked like they were kind of short staffed and he didn’t hesitate to get behind the bar, run food or check on his customers, and i have to mention he did this all before he could have dinner with his family. love that energy!
