The owners, Dave and Kylie Deimler wanted to create an unforgettable, yet historic, upscale dining experience to all of its patrons and visitors. Both Dave and Kylie have spent more than 35+ years in the restaurant business, as they also own ‘Babe’s Grill House’ in Palmyra, PA. It has been their dream to create these unique spots, attracting various crowds of people and bringing them together to have an enjoyable and memorable experience! Dave and Kylie want The 1762 Kitchen and Cocktails at the Warwick Hotel to be a destination, a space that draws out-of-towners to Hummelstown, a place that local residents can be proud of!

We went up to Hershey Park and the evening before we were looking for a nice place to eat dinner. We saw this place online and I called to see if we needed to make a reservation. We showed up and so began an amazing evening starting off with a sample of delicious homemade watermelon brandy! Followed by delicious salads, appetizer and wonderful entrees. We had our teenage grandchildren with us and the also thoroughly enjoyed their food and the relaxed atmosphere. We topped off the evening with dessert, we we all shared as we were fully satisfied with our meal. Highly recommend this place! We wanted to eat there the next evening and the website said they were open, but alas…they were closed. Hope to make it back that way again and will definitely stop in for a meal and chat with David, the owner.

Stopped here for a group dinner. It was a great experience. The owner greeted us with a handshake and a smile. Told us a little on the history. We had a few drinks st the bar prior to dinner as we waited for the rest of our group. I had to try the unicorn whisper which was delicious! We had some kind of shot with was also very tasty. Once we sat down for dinner, Maria our server got to work immediately. She was amazing! We ordered some appetizers and then our meals. The food was as Fram to table as you can get, and very tasty, it didn’t disappoint. If you are ever in the area I would highly suggest giving them a try.

We had the best meal of our life here, we started off with calamari and that set the stage cuz it was excellent, I ordered the roasted duck and my wife had the grass-fed strip steak. The chef prepared it wonderfully. Great flavor and my duck came with mashed potatoes, mini carrots, and a Chinese cabbage salad. Absolutely wonderful. The owner came and greeted us when we got our table. He even gave us a shot of a Brandy concoction that he crafted and that was absolutely great too. Our server was phenomenal, friendly and attentive. I can’t say enough about this place. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend going. The meals are a little pricey so save your pennies. We will drive the 3 hours to get there once again someday.

An amazing local gem. We love the new menu and new chef’s work! The beef skewers and wings apps were both amazing. We were so full after we could barely eat our meals! But both sandwiches also tasted incredible. Service was excellent. And you always need to respect and appreciate a place where the owner goes table to table. We’ll be back again soon!

I can’t say enough about this place. I have only been there twice, and both times, I was not let down by the service, food, or atmosphere. We go out somewhat regularly, The 1762 is now on our list of top 3… as long as the consistency remains, it will stay there. Our group has very different taste and everyone leaves impressed with the meal, service, and price for it all! Keep it up!

The Staff were super friendly! Food was absolutely fantastic, the flavors were outstanding! The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and was very pleasant to have. Recommend making a reservation even just for two people as it was packed for dinner. Service was fast, friendly and favorable. We had the Lamb Wellington and Jumbo Crabcakes, Both were DELICIOUS! I’d recommend to everyone we know.

I had the pan roasted duck with gnocchi. It was an amazing dish. Our server Ryan was also great. Definitely going back. Can’t wait to try other menu items. I don’t do a lot of reviews and I don’t often give five stars but this was definitely deserving. Well done 1762.
