Good enough selection of alcohols and beer, this is a bowling alley, not a club in NYC. The selection will suit most people’s tastes. Try the Amputator IPA, a local favorite of mine. Full sized bar if you are just looking for drinks/drinks and food.
Food: the food is great, I’m a huge fan of the curly fries, Reuben, and the overall quality of food here. There’s numerous little touches that add to the experience: large, useful cups for mustard and ketchup, easily accessible ice water, an accessible soda fountain (a rarity in most bowling alleys, normally getting a refill means standing in line).
Gaming: it’s a bowling alley. There are 6 lanes, well used, well cared for and loved lanes. This bowling alley has grown some quality competitors on a national scale. The character in these lanes is something tangible, and I love it. The balls and equipment in general is older, but works just fine.
My favorite thing was the friendliness, simplicity and efficiency of the personal! Great people!
The food was fresh, very well prepared, and served hot. (the birthday girl says “…and delicious!”)
The whole place (bathrooms included) was very clean.
And the prices there are very affordable, for a change: THIS is THE place to spend a nice afternoon or evening with your friends and whole family!
EDIT: I just read a review that said that a burger and beverage was over $20… I paid $8.47 for a FULL meal (good and copious Nathan’s hot dog + delicious fries + free-refill drink) and the most expensive fancy burger I saw was a around $12 or $13. They also have children menus.
