This place is awesome! The pizza tasted great and the wings, garlic bread were good as well. Great place to come. The owner was so generous to my kids which made my day. Not to many places with great hospitality around. I highly recommend this place. Thank you to all the people that work there.

I walked back into That’s Amore Pizzeria today like a detective revisiting an old case—one that never quite left my mind. Ten years is a long time in this town, and geography had kept me away longer than taste ever wanted to. Still, memory is a stubborn thing, especially when it’s built on great pizza. The last two times I ate here, the pies were unforgettable, the kind that stick with you when everything else fades.

I tried two weeks ago—Christmas Eve—but the joint was dark. No crime there. A place that closes rather than cuts corners earns my respect. When I came back today at opening time, 2 p.m. sharp, the place looked different—brighter, cleaner, like it had stepped out of the shadows. I asked the woman at the counter when the renovation happened. Turns out the place changed ownership three months ago.

Didn’t matter. The pizza told the truth. The crust had backbone—solid, honest, with a handle at the end that turns into a breadstick if you let it. Now that I’m within twenty minutes of this place, I’m officially in danger. The good kind.

The pizza was a 10/10! The crust was so crunchy and soft inside. Not only was the taste so delicious. But the service was probably even better. The server catered to us with whatever we needed with a big smile on her face. If you haven’t been here yet take your family and eat some pizza and wings!

Heard this place was under new ownership and I was in the area with my family. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Knew the pizza was good before eating it because my children (who are really picky eaters) were devouring it. The quality of the food is amazing and I got full quickly with how big this pizza was. We also ordered the wings which were surprisingly amazing, good crispiness and amazing sauces. Me and my family are definitely coming back here as our go to pizza spot to watch games and have some good beer.

I’ve been eating at this pizzeria for a very long time; since I was in middle school about 18 years ago, and how fast the time has disappeared. In the past, the place was homey and looked like a small time restaurant to get some pizza after a baseball game or simply somewhere to go on a random Friday night with the family for some pizza and wings. However, they were always super busy, which was a great thing. Bustling conversations would bring the restaurant to life, and the aroma of cooking pizza lifted the spirits of all, creating long-lasting memories. Since they closed down in the last few years, the place is renovated, and now it looks cleaner and a lot more modern. The wooden partition type wall is gone, and the floors and tables are all redone. They still have some arcade games, as they had before, but nothing close to the ones of the past. I recall the shooting game with two pistols where the ‘bad guys’ would pop onto the screen from the side, and some even had hostages; now it’s mostly brightly lit crane games. I ordered my food to go, and the service was great; the lady took my order over the phone without a problem, and I was just happy that I was soon to have a slice from my childhood. Upon entering the restaurant, I was taken aback by how new everything was and had high hopes. I ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeño pizza; also, a fettuccine alfredo pasta and paid about $37. I live 2 minutes away from the place, so when I arrived home, the pizza and pasta were still so hot that it fogged up my glasses when I opened their boxs. When deciding on my slice, which is an important task, some of the toppings fell off, and the dough went limp, and I thought maybe it was a fluke and the dough was scared or inexperienced; it wasn’t. The entire pizza was undercooked, and it was a shame because of the memories I had. Then comes the pasta, which would have been better from a frozen dinner box. I asked for extra sauce, which the staff had no problem accommodating me with, but I do not believe I had ever had an Alfredo sauce taste like water. There was no hint of cheese or cream or anything at all. It was fettuccine pasta in a water sauce that had a splash of cream or milk. I couldn’t tell because there was absolutely no flavor at all. I hope it was a fluke, and I just happened to get an off order, but only time will tell. The staff was nice, well, I only saw two young kids working; a young lady taking orders, working the front, and a young man in the back. I believe he was making the pizza? I say that because it wasn’t so busy, but he was in the back, so I’m assuming he was cooking. Either way, the staff were very nice, but the pizza should be cooked longer to ensure the dough doesn’t need a blue pill to serve its purpose and the pasta sauce needs redone altogether; add some cheese or love to it at least. The strange thing is that normally, to reheat pizza, I throw it in my oven, and the crust and dough get amazingly crisp while retaining the delicious chewy, fluffy interior The cheese melts, creating a crunchy cheese skirt on the sides, and it’s just amazing; I love pizza. This dough got hard, not in the good late night way with the Mrs, but was still soft like a dry pancake. Just bizarre. I will try this place again and probably ask for the pizza to be cooked well done. I hope it is better because I used to love frequenting this place when i was younger, and I would love to bring my kids here to eat delicious pizza and build a similar memory.

Discovered this place randomly one night wanting some Pizza, and it’s quite literally the best pizza I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the bbq chicken and the whole place in general. Well deserving of more business.
