Cool spot. Glad to have stumbled onto it. Excellent for the price. Why do the pickles taste like mcdonald’s cheeseburger pickles with the ketchup and mustard. Good kind of nostalgia flavor with better bun and meat! This is the burger that I would expect to get at the neighborhood barbecue. (Skip the lettuce if you’re ordering to go!) Oh, so they had the fresh cut fries that have the skin on them. While they’re not my favorite type of fry, they are my favorite type of fry.For these kind of restaurants. And the best fries out of the three restaurants that we sampled for our content creation day.

I forgot I hadn’t been there in a while. I’m always trying to find food for my picky son. I ordered 2 kids turkey burgers for $15.00. Absolutely delicious!! The bun was soft and fresh, the turkey burger was well-seasoned and juicy and fries are hand cut and perfect. They are not stingy either. He enjoyed them both. I’m fasting but I want to try the salmon burger and green tomatoes next visit. The wait was about 15 minutes but the food was hot. It was even good slightly reheated because he ate it 3 hours later after he got home from school. I love this place and have been a customer since 1997 when they were on 71st street. ❤️

I’m no stranger to this spot I remember when they first opened up in South Shore, and now they’re holding it down on 83rd & Stoney Island. This Black owned gem sets the bar for professionalism. The staff is always friendly, personable, and welcoming.
Yes, there may be a short wait at times, but that’s only because everything is cooked fresh on the spot and it’s worth it every single time.
Today I ordered my go to the salmon burger (no onions, no cheese) and grabbed two turkey hot dogs for one of my leasing agents. Their menu is stacked with great options, plus they’ve got Italian ice for dessert. And the best part you can fully customize your order to your liking.
Back in the day, I lived off their famous turkey burger (no fries, no cheese, no onions). And trust me, I’ll be back soon for another turkey burger and some Italian ice. Don’t meet me there beat me there!
I wish the every entire staff member that works at that’s a burger much success and for the business to strive and flourish and I pray many more locations open up and may the gates of financial freedom open up for everyone in abundance

Had a craving for a good burger and my daughter only eats turkey. Hard to find a place that does both well, but That’s A Burger did not disappoint!! Burgers were fresh, hand made and cooked perfectly. Online ordering made it easy so I didn’t have to wait, just picked it up. We will be back.

I cannot believe there is gormet burger spot on the south side like this!!!! They have the best turkey burgers I’ve ever had!!! I’m so blown away because this is right by my house and it’s my first time. Their customer service is top tier and also the mango Italian ice is fire too! The customer service is beyond deplorable! Love the food but when dealing with terrible customer service is it worth it? They always make my order wrong because they don’t listen and whenever I ask for it to be made the right way they throw my food in the back or roll their eyes or make snide remarks. I’ve complained to the owner several times who will proactively do something but they clearly do not care cause they keep showing up unprofessional
