Funny little spot, amazing staff big smiles makes you feel like family. The sliders actually come with 5, but my fiancé couldn’t wait to dive in. Good sauces and would say they all pair with the pulled pork very well. Come with a big appetite you get your moneys worth with place for sure. Would go again.

I was on my way to a client site, stopped for gas, and started looking for something to eat. I came across this place and figured, why not give it a try?
I was seated right away and started looking through the menu. There were several things that caught my eye, but the smoked Reuben stood out — I’d never had one before, so I had to try it. I also added a smoked sausage link on the side.
The food came out pretty quickly. The Reuben was generously stacked with meat and tasted like a solid classic Reuben, but I didn’t really pick up any “smoked corned beef” flavor. Still good, just not quite what I expected from the name. The sausage link was a nice addition.
I really liked the vibe of the place — a small BBQ spot with a friendly staff. Overall, I’d recommend stopping in.

Brisket was a little dry but nothing some sauce couldn’t fix. Sides were all excellent and still nice and hot when I got back to my hotel. Would probably try the ribs next time. Mac N cheese was the most outstanding of the meal. Make sure you get that!

Drinks: sweet tea 10/10 a bit sweet but so good, had to take one togo.
Appetizer: pig in a boat (loaded potato skins w/ pulled pork) 9/10 potatoes was soft and crisp and the pork is buttery. Special shoutout to the house made bbq sauce
Entrees: I forgot the names but I got ribs w/ fried tomatoes, Mac and cheese, baked beans. Ribs 8.3/10 falling of the bone I got them wet in their house bbq sauce. Mac was mid and the baked beans 10/10. For the green tomatoes 4/10 I’m just very picky about them.
Also got brisket tacos 8.7/10 brisket supper tender toppings give it a burst of flavor.
Dessert: strawberry pound cake 9/10 it was grilled and served with candied pecans and ice cream.
Also got banana pudding 11/10 just get it trust me
Overall experience: it looked deserted on the outside but once inside we were greeted with a warm welcome. We sat down immediately and the waitress was super friendly and gave great suggestions. She made sure to check in on us frequently 10/10

Came here today for dinner to try it out. Absolutely amazing food. My whole family loved it! The briskets were delicious. Juicy, tender, and very flavorful. The burgers were perfectly cooked as well! They helped us with anything we needed. They also greeted us when we entered and said goodbye when we left. Very polite! Thank you Thatcher’s! Definitely recommend!

I’ve visited all four Thatcher’s locations, and the food has always been consistently good. We’ve never had a bad meal.
At the Ringgold location, we ordered our favorite, the Man of Smoke sandwich, along with sweet potato tots for lunch. The regular-sized Man of Smoke is enough for two people, in my opinion, and the jumbo size is huge!
The two young ladies at the Ringgold location, pictured below, were wonderful and provided excellent customer service. If you’re in the area, Thatcher’s is definitely a great spot for good food.

Had the brisket plate with beans and fries and dessert was specialty strawberry cheesecake pudding. Brisket was melt in your mouth. Beans have bbq meat in them. Crinkle cut fries. It was good. The strawberry cheesecake pudding was light and not overly sweet. It was very good. Service was great. This was my first time going. I would go back and try something different because they had a variety of things on the menu that sounded good.
