We recently enjoyed a dinner date at That Place on Augusta and WOW, what a delicious meal we had! The special was a porterhouse steak and we also had shrimp…not to mention the best homemade rolls ever!. Service was wonderful and we will be telling all of our friends & family about it.

What a lovely little place to visit in town! I dropped in for the first time and was very impressed by both the service and atmosphere. And the food! Holy heck, it was delicious!
I had the Cubano, which was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in years. My husband enjoyed the meatball sub and fries and loved them both. I also got a chimichanga special to enjoy the next day, and it didn’t disappoint.
Definitely recommend stopping by. I’m so glad to have such a delicious place in town!

I was hesitant to try another restaurant in Iowa…but man did they not disappoint!! The best meal I’ve had in a very long time. I had the surf and turf, beautiful dish. The steak melted in my mouth (comparable to Ruth Chris) the butterflied shrimp were seasoned perfectly and the lemon brought out all the flavors . It won’t surprise me if it becomes my regular go to! Thank you!

I was around the area cruising on the side by side and decided I was hungry, I stopped by and ordered their Wednesday night special! The Lamb Chops were cooked absolutely perfect and serving sizes were awesome. Both employees I had the pleasure of meeting were incredibly nice and informative about their menu and what I was ordering. It was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. 10/10!

This is a hidden gem! The food is fantastic! Loved the fried shrimp, onion rings and the stuffed pepper soup was delicious! We plan to return for their steak and crème brûlée next week. Quaint little restaurant run by sisters Lori and Terri. They were so pleasant and enjoyed a nice conversation with them. We highly recommend! It is a short drive from Coralville and so worth it!

We have eaten here frequently and are never disappointed. We share the steak and baked potato and get an extra salad. The food is always delicious and the service efficient and pleasant. The atmosphere continues to improve. It’s great to have a place like this in Oxford.

A group of us stopped in right at noon for sandwiches. The place was a little busy, and the service was a little slow. But the sandwiches were exceptional – and I mean that in a good way. At my table, we enjoyed a meatball sub, a breaded pork tenderloin, and a pulled pork sandwich. Nobody was disappointed. Kudos to the new owners for making this a place worth visiting. Have they covered outdoor patio, which is nice when the weather cooperates.

Just 5 minutes of I-80. Do yourself a favor.
The pork loin sandwich was so good I got another one to go.
One of the owners made a “Holy Cow”cake that could be the best dessert I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
Owners and staff were great.
Family owned. Nice to see people so passionate about providing quality food.
I told them the cake was “criminal”, it was so good.
I’ll stop here every time I’m on I-80.

Not sure on the type of day, but there was no one in there when we went. However, the service was great. My buddy did get a few raw chicken tenders, but they made up for it and made him a new batch.
