After a very long bike ride on the Allegheny River Trail bike path… this was a great place to stop to fuel up. Amazing milk products from a local dairy , fast appetizers and great meal choices. An ice cream for the dessert hit the spot. Owner Jay was out back keeping the bar b que going. We will be back next time we finish this bike trail again!

Very classic roadside diner with outside counter service and a cozy spacious 8 table/ booth dining room. Menu rolls from Italian to American comfort foods and everyone’s favorite ice-cream spirited desserts. Service on this visit was excellent at lunch time. My order was correct and amazing. The double Angus burger was really good. The loaded fries hit right. The ice cream sundae made for a happy ending.

Great little spot, good food! I had the pulled pork sub, great cuts of meat, NO fat. We also got a 16” bbq chicken pizza, very good as well, they are using quality ingredients, and that means a lot to me.
Prices are still low, surprisingly, compared to how much the cost of making dinner at has increased. Glad we tried it!

everyone there was so nice and accommodating. The sandwich was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The loaded fries wow. Only thing i needed after i ate was a pillow. I was in Heaven!!! Look forward to coming back many more times!!

This eatery is small and quaint. I have eaten here multiple times. It has delicious food! They use homemade dough to make their pizza. The staff are friendly and attentive. They have some great desserts also! It is worth stopping for a meal if you are in the area!

I’ve eaten here numerous times over the past couple years and have never had a bad meal or service. Their pizza is really good, especially the crust and toppings. Bonus points for using fresh mushrooms instead of canned. I also really like their wraps and fries.

7/22/22 update
A year later and I’m changing my review from 5 stars to 3. Overall, they are going downhill. They can’t seem to keep wait staff. They are always new and appear to be lacking in training. They get simple requests wrong (i.e. toppings on sandwiches), don’t check back after delivering food and have to make multiple trips back to the kitchen because they forgot something. The quality of the food has decreased as well. A couple weeks ago, I ordered the breaded fish fry for dinner. It’s usually top notch. That night, it was so overdone that the only way to eat it was to crack open the breading and to pull the fish out (think how to eat crab legs here). I told the waitress and she just ignored it. Even the cook, who came out to the dining room as he often does, just said “sorry” and walked away. Everyone has a bad night so I just let it go. Today I went back with friends for lunch. The waitress was again new, got the order wrong and was quite rude. My friend made the comment that she had never felt so rushed out the door once the bill was paid. It’s sad. I had such high hopes that “That Place” would be a great regular go-to.
