My friend and I decided to check this place out. I asked a customer leaving how he liked the food. He said that the meat was so good, it didn’t even need sauce. We got to our table and asked customers as they left how they liked their meal. We were told it was great, and that they’ll be back. Now it was our turn. We ordered the Smoked Out Platter and decided to share it. I wished we ordered two of them. We ate the food so fast that it was gone in minutes. The Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage was da BAWMB. The ribs were wonderful. Most of the meat didn’t even need sauce, though I was trying to dip everything including my fingers in the sweet, lovely sauce. I hope this place continues to get the strong local support that these businesses deserve. Sheila was a great waitress and made us feel welcome. We made sure to tip her well. Come on out and give them a try.

I finally got to try this place out!! It’s hard to find good BBQ around here, but this spot is at the top! The service was great and we didn’t leave disappointed. Food was great and I personally really like the sauce! Pictured here we had the Mac and cheese bites, pulled pork fries, garlic bread cheese curds, the smoked platter (alittle bit of everything), and the brisket combo.

If you’re looking for awesome BBQ around Elkhart then this is a MUST visit! The restaurant is very clean and we’ll put together. There were plenty of TVs in the Bar for watching March Madness. The chili was very well rounded with multiple depths of flavor. The brisket melted in your mouth like butter. The pulled pork slider was delicious. The ribs had a great balance of smoke and sauce. My only criticism would be that the wings were borderline overcook and a little on the dry side but that’s just me being picky. If you out enough sauce on them you couldn’t tell. Overalls That Guy’s gets a 5 stars for quality food, excellent service, amazing atmosphere, and a reasonably priced menu! Keep up the good work y’all!

They just opened today and it is wonderful. The food was so amazing. The price was well worth every dollar. Cedric has put his experience and hard work into this place and it shows. The dining room is phenomenal and open. The bar is surrounded by many TVs with all sorts of sports on. You cannot miss this place. Come check them out!!

The food was delicious! We ordered the Smoked Out Platter and a couple appetizers for our family (wife, two young kids, and myself). It was more than enough and we took a full takeout box home with us. Get here early because they often sell out. If you are going to a BBQ restaurant that doesn’t sell out, then it isn’t real BBQ. Smoking meat properly takes hours to do, so they prepare a limited amount of meat to prevent waste but supply current demand. Sometimes demand jumps and you can’t anticipate the increase, so you run out of meat. I appreciate that this BBQ pit master puts out good quality smoked meats rather than “quick smoked” or even worse “liquid smoke” meat. Keep up the good work, we will be back many times. And keep Vandermill on tap! Not enough places have a good cider on tap.

Mixed review. The food was incredible but the portion sizes and prices were very poor. We split the platter which we thought was a good idea cause we could try a variety of items, all of it was quite good but it wasn’t a “platter”, it was a plate. I could have EASILY finished it on my own, in fact I could’ve done 2. We also got the pepper jack mac n cheese bites for an app, these were very good but again only 12 pieces for $9…..$5 would be a much more reasonable price. The platter is $30 but worth more like $16 or so. So we may be back eventually but definitely will not be in a rush to come back due to these high prices and small portions which is a shame because the food is quite great! Also our server Bailey was awesome! She took great care of us!

Definitely the best ribs and brisket around. My husband and I shared the sampler platter, stuffed ourselves, and took food home. The picture is the remnants of dinner. Love their sauce, too!

First time eating here and was impressed with the staff. Few different people asking how our food was, very personable, attentive and polite. The type of people I’d want on my team if I had a restaurant. The food was good and nice size portions. The tips had a slight smoke taste and I liked the sauce. The bake beans were awesome, some of the best I’ve had. If you like barbecue, check this place out.
