What a friendly little place with plenty of options. Ask what’s “not on the menu yet” and you might be surprised.
I had a glass of water and a Fried Bologna Sandwich sitting in front of me within 10 minutes walking in the door. All you need to know is, See the photos!
Sparkling clean, super friendly, and welcoming. That is something you can’t say about all the places I’ve visited.
See you next time!
I got their Chicken and Waffles which came with 2 waffles 2 pieces of chicken and 2 eggs for ~14$, the eggs were over easy (at my request) but we’re a little flimsy. The waffles were very sweet and large but we’re good when comboed with the chicken. The service was great our waiter came by multiple times to check on us and we’re quick to bring us things. all in all a 4/5 would go again
My wife and I visited Flippin Egg hoping for a great breakfast experience, and while the service and atmosphere were genuinely welcoming, the food unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations.
Our waitress was wonderful—attentive, sweet, and made us feel right at home. The warm, inviting atmosphere was exactly what you’d want from a local breakfast spot. However, the meal itself fell short of what we’d hoped for.
We both ordered the build-your-own omelet with cheese, onions, peppers, and sides of turkey sausage, grits, and hash browns. The omelet arrived with undercooked, watery vegetables and barely any cheese, giving it a runny consistency. The grits had an unusually stiff texture with a hard top layer, topped with unmelted shredded cheddar that didn’t improve the dish. The turkey sausage lacked flavor and had an unappetizing, dense texture that was difficult to enjoy. We also noticed only margarine was available rather than real butter.
It’s difficult to write this review because the staff was so pleasant and clearly care about their customers. That’s why I’m sharing this feedback—I believe with some adjustments in the kitchen, particularly with cooking techniques and ingredient quality, this restaurant could truly shine. The foundation is there with the excellent service; the food just needs to match that same level of care.
Food Quality is not bad but the waitresses have forgotten there position. I explain to the waitress I had condiments in my plate the last time and she argued me down. Observed waitresses mishandling food at the window. The quality of this place can be raised with better customer service. I would on recommend this place for basic eats for the morning and evening. I was reached out to about this place getting 1 star and I can see why. If you sit at the counter you will see how the food is being miss handled
Receipt is not itemized showing what you are paying for and overall it needs a adjustment. Not a bad place to eat cooked food
The service was extremely friendly and quite prompt. While not as authentic feeling as a diner you might find out West (and not replete with the same options), the decor and music still provided for a pleasant meal.
During my visit on a Thursday morning diners were sparse but the pickup counter received a constant stream of customers.
Over all noise levels were comfortable throughout my visit.
