The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made to order, with meats that are perfectly seasoned and sauces that take everything to the next level. The portions are generous, the quality is consistent, and the service is genuinely friendly and welcoming. You can tell care goes into every order, which makes the experience even better. If you’re craving a satisfying burrito with bold flavors and great service, this spot is a must-try.

Some of the best Breakfast burritos money can buy, and super reasonably priced. Considering how big they are, you can’t beat it. Really convenient that it’s inside a liquor store, so you can multi-task while waiting for them to cook.

First time here came based on the reviews. I wouldn’t say it was the best breakfast burrito. I wouldn’t even say it was an epic burrito. It was fairly pretty good. You get a good portion size. I highly suggest that they update the menu prices showing $8.50 for a burrito that is actually now $11 which was borderline what I would pay for a breakfast burrito anyway, but I can’t say that I would come back because taco stand sells her breakfast burritos for under $8.

Burrito counter located inside of Landmark Liquor store. Take-out only but there are benches outside. The food is a little pricey but the burritos are so big that you can easily make two servings out of each one. The service is pretty fast and they are nice. The burritos themselves are solid, I would call it “Americanized Mexican food” but it’s still a good hearty meal. I typically get the sausage in breakfast burrito, add guac and hot salsa.
The menu is a little bit confusing. Most places you order the base burrito and add meat for an additional cost. This place they default is sausage AND bacon and you have to ask to remove it (or just one of those individually) which they will call a “veggie burrito”, which is not listed on the menu. It’s fine it all works out in the end but it’s a little confusing
They still have a sign saying “due to increase in egg costs, we have had to raise our prices.” Now that egg costs have come back down I am wondering if the menu prices have been lowered back down as well. The burritos come out to about $10 before tax and tip, but as I mentioned earlier you get about two servings per burrito.

First timer to this local liquor location with a burrito take out counter inside. It’s been on my list to try and cannot believe the popularity. It’s early in the day and no waiting but as the morning progressed the parking lot was full and burrito eaters filled the sidewalk table. I had a breakfast carne asada burrito and it was under $12. I enjoyed my burrito in my vehicle and watched the vehicles rotate in. The burrito was assembled with the menu described ingredients and choice of salsa was added. I expected the burrito to be hot but not. I suggest a few minutes of heat to melt the cheese. It was a very good size and weight. It was wrapped well with paper and foil. A side of salsa or packaged hot sauce would be better too. I will return at a different time to check out other items.

Now THAT is what I call a breakfast burrito. I ordered the sausage and bacon burrito with medium salsa. At first I thought it was delicious because I was so hungry, but even as I was retiring near the end of the burrito, every bite was just perfect. The prices on the sign are slightly off, but this was still a HUGE burrito for $12. The tortilla is soft, eggs are fluffy, sausage is perfectly seasoned/juicy, salsa adds a nice dimension of freshness, and the cheese melts in your mouth. The burrito is also not overstuffed with potatoes, which is usually my biggest hesitance to ordering one. It’s inside of a liquor store but there were three tables outside where you can sit. I went around noon on a Saturday and there was no line. The two guys working were also super friendly and quick.

So this burrito joint is in a liquor store. The outside is dark gray and doesn’t seem to have any windows, but as soon as you walk in you notice The epic burrito shack inside on the left. All the people that work there seem pretty friendly and down to earth and the burritos they have there are….. well for lack of a better word EPIC!!
My breakfast burrito was the size of my forearm but had a lot more flavor. Hash browns, sausage, bacon, cheese, eggs, guac, pico and hotsauce. I didn’t think I was going to finish the whole thing but it was so good that I couldn’t stop myself. It was gone before I knew it. The size was impressive and beautiful to behold. I don’t often take pictures of my food but after my first three bites, I had to take a picture of this monster. (can for comparison) The picture doesn’t do it justice. Just go in and have yourself a burrito and enjoy. Cuz it’s great.
It’s definitely a to-go situation as there is no place to sit in there. so not a great place to meet somebody for lunch unless you’re going to go to the park or something.

I’m pretty passionate about my breakfast burritos as much as my fried chicken, so this standout shop name was practically calling out for me. In short, the name isn’t just for show.
There’s three criteria that makes a breakfast burrito amazing in my eyes: crispy potatoes, tender meat, and great salsa. That EPIC Burrito Shack delivered on all three! I loved the burrito and would probably love it even more if I had it on the spot. The tater tots held up over a 20m drive on top of swimming in the salsa, with the carne asada having the right bite to it.
I recommend getting the salsas on the side, and all of them because they’re all fantastic, but this would keep your burrito from becoming a soupy mess. Even just one inside would risk sogging and tearing up the tortilla. I did this on my second trip and it made the burrito even better. I only wish the carne asada had more of a crust/sear to it with a stronger marinade or seasoning, but I love that carne asada is even an option. It’s surprisingly rare to find breakfast burritos with Mexican cuts!
The storefront for That EPIC Burrito Shack is tight. Large enough to make an order, but a bit tight down the line when you’re watching them make your food. Luckily it was a bit empty each time I went, but this may cause some discomfort for those not yet ready to be near others or just want some personal space. This is where you’ll be letting them know if you want cheese or which salsas you want.
That EPIC Burrito Shack is a welcome addition to the OC food scene. I’m interested to see what they add or change up as they settle in!

I heard a lot of buzz about the breakfast burrito here so I had to come and see for myself. It’s rare that the hype was real and this is one of those instances. Located in a mini mart, epic burrito had a simple menu. I was recommended the Asada breakfast burrito with all the trimmings. It went above and beyond expectations. Granted, it wasn’t a traditional breakfast burrito but the flavors exploded with each bite. I would come again for the other one.
