He introduced himself right away, was super friendly, and gave great recommendations — including suggesting I put cheese curds on top of my fries, which ended up being the best decision ever. Even while managing the whole bar by himself, he stayed attentive and welcoming.
What really stood out was how he kept the whole place feeling fun and interactive. He kept up with multiple conversations with customers, stayed engaged with everyone, watched the local Miami game on TV, and even rang the bell when Miami scored.
Running a whole bar like that and still giving great service isn’t easy, but Alex made it look effortless. We’ll definitely be back next year!
(Bonus: closed on Sundays but since there was Marlins game scheduled the owner opened up the place. Super fantastic !)
They also have a PlayStation and other cool stuff!
The food is absolutely on point! I was particularly impressed by the vegetarian options; the tacos were so good, I ordered them twice! Every dish I tried was bursting with great flavor, and the prices were surprisingly affordable, especially for Miami. It’s clear they put a lot of care into their cuisine.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was exceptional. The staff and owner are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. They anticipate your needs, which is a rare and wonderful quality. The drinks are also really tasty, and I highly recommend trying their sour beer or the “sun” lager – kudos to their bartender!
Adding to the fantastic experience, they sometimes have live music, and the vintage video games are a fun touch. Whether you’re looking for a spot before or after a Marlins game, or just a cozy joint to unwind, this place is perfect. I had an absolute blast and will definitely be coming back to Thank You Miami Cocina & Beer House – it’s a true gem!
