I wish Buncha had more vegetables as it was pretty much all noodles and spring rolls. But the flavours were really good. The other dishes were fantastic too. I am very happy with the food. Staff was very friendly!

This is my favourite restaurant in Prince George. I come here all the time and I have always had a great experience, every single time. The food is always excellent, the staff are always lovely. I cycle between getting pho, the brochette and spring roll combo, or curry. I always get a salad roll as well. 10/10 totally recommend.

Ahao! My first ever vietnamese meal. Experienced was a blast. The man who served us is really generous. I can see the geniune smile in his face while doing job. Service was perfect! Food was extreme. Never I expect the value of money was extraordinary. Its like I am eating for the whole day. Kudos to those man serving us! I just never had a time asking his name. You made our day precious. Thank you.

Good food and service, years ago was very reasonable, now around the going rate of other restaurants similar to this one. Nice bright open dining area with booths and tables of various sizes. Quiet , sometimes soft music played but decent environment to eat in. Food is consistently good, no problems. Dinner menu is more extensive than lunch menu. Have dropped a few menu items over the years, but given price increases I am not surprised.

The service has gone down hill at Thanh vu significantly. We have been going since it was on 20th way back when. My husband is Celiac, I am not. I phoned an order for pick up of sweet & sour chicken over crispy noodles. I have ordered this many times. I order the main dish gluten free and explain I am not Celiac but like the noodles and if I can still get them. The main meal is always served in separate container then noodles. If you order this meal it is $25.85 and the noodles are included in that price.
When calling in my order I order I explain I would like the noodles please but main meal made gluten free. (Which I have done many times) I was talking to server and she said this is just not possible due to liability and they just can’t ring it in their system that way.
I understand there are different systems used at restaurants however I have worked at many and there usually is a work around.
When on the phone the first server then passes me to a different server who again explains to me about liabilities. (Maybe the gluten police?) However she does offer me the option of ordering a side of crispy noodles for $5.95. (Which I already paid for in the meal but am just not aloud to have) if I pay for the side extra I can have it, just not the ones I already will be paying for. When does common sense just come into play? I have served for years. If the system doesn’t allow it, then ring in the side but zero out the cost and write a note. Nope, no customer service; no options just repetitively telling me about liabilities? If I pay double for them the liabilities must disappear. The kicker is I probably would have tipped the $5.95 when I picked up, if either server had offered any type of option beside paying extra for something I already paid for. The food is always consistent, and really like this restaurant but just the principle of it all makes me angry

Ordered pick up – the appetizer spring rolls for 2 was delicious! Especially the salad rolls. Won ton soup equally as good with the beef broth, I will return again to try more of the menu.

Not the most authentic Vietnamese food, but craving satisfied.
Food: I am a strict grader because I am Asian and there are better pho in Vancouver.
Atmosphere: clean and pleasant. It was a Sat evening but the store was not even half full.
Service: Excellent. The Asian lady was super friendly.

We were looking for a bite close to the CN centre. The house wine (Mission Hills) was well priced. The lemongrass curry chicken was yummy. The curry could have used some veggies other than just onions. The beef pho hit the spot. Go for the large if you are a big eater. The deep fried banana was good with the vanilla ice cream. A drizzle of caramel would have made it perfect. The service was very good. The restaurant was clean and even the hot sauce and hoisin containers were spotless. The restaurant was busy at 5pm and a lot of take out orders were visible.
