The food is sold by weight, but I’ve noticed it’s often underweighed — which feels dishonest. I stopped coming here. The workers wear the same gloves to handle both food and money, and they use a dirty rag to wipe spills on the cups. There’s a clear lack of hygiene. These issues should be addressed by the management or the local health department. The store is also dirty and smelly.

They famous with their tofu that has mushroom, rice noodle. They only accept cash. The inside is small and dark. It’s kind of un- organized, it seems like many things happening althoug there’s a line. The line, place making order and payment is kind of messed up.

Thanh Son Tofu is one of the most famous tofu shops in the Sacramento area. They offer the best tofu products and quick and easy service. The store is always bustling on the weekends. The parking lot is a little too small for the business they have. Fortunately, most customers receive very fast service, and the parking space is free up quickly.

Tofu options are top notch but everything else is meh, including their customer service (or lack thereof).

The only dessert that I would NOT get here again is flan. Tastes awful, like medicine. Most likely because they use gelatin powder and too much of it.

Bring cash and ask for pricing beforehand. None is listed anywhere. It’s quite difficult to tell how much anything costs after purchase with their generic receipts. Sometimes they don’t even bother giving you the receipts.

Great place to get fried tofu and Vietnamese goodies. Their soy jello and soy milk and everything is made fresh daily. Their sesame balls are the best in town and have the right amount of crisp. Friendly staff as well and very accommodating.

Make the store looks nicer, brighter and more peaceful. It is a bit gloomy, negative, and depressing. Other than that, very nice and friendly employees. I chatted with them for awhile.

The foods here are insanely fresh. Freshly made every day! No chemicals and preservatives. So nice, clean, fresh, delicious, and yummy. Very pure foods.

Take out specialty foods: not a restaurant, though hand-crafted sweet Vietnamese drinks made to order and several ready to eat snacks available.

Their tofu is so good! Very affordable tofu too. My mom loves this place so much and always wants me to buy a ton for her to freeze when I visit her in non-Asian Bay Area. She is the one who told me about this place. My bf loves their soy milk and often picks up a few jugs weekly. I also like their yogurt. Service is terrible if there are multiple ppl trying to pay but that’s normal in my mind (for these type of places).

I CAME HERE FOR TOFU PUDDING AND THEY REALLY GOOD. Tho, it was like 4 bucks which is a bit iffy but the included syrups were pretty good (coconut and regular black sugar syrup).

Soy milk is what you typically expect – nothing terribly special but the tofu pudding is definitively on the firmer side which im always down for.

Not so good customer service. I bought the Vietnamese ham three times and all three times, the ham was overnight so they were not fresh anymore. The ham is super dry because they were re-boiled or warm up by microwave.
Sticky rice is not as good as it used to be.
Tofu and Steam rice cake is acceptable.
And be aware that they only accept CASH payment.
