The Fab Forty
We stopped here after checking out the Nao Trinidad that was docked next door. We heard live music, noticed that this place was right on the water, and really that’s what we were looking for. We wanted the atmosphere. We got seated right away, there were a moderate amount of customers though it wasn’t busy. Took about 10 minutes time before our server came to our table, ordered drinks, she came back over to us pretty quickly to take our food order, which all went well, our food arrived quick, and hot. Everything looked and tasted good. The fish sandwich was ok. Nothing to rave about, standard lettuce and tomato, bulky roll. Nothing that would make me say a month from now, “I gotta have that fish sandwich again!” Shrimp tacos were good, though most places serve 3 tacos, here it was 2. I asked the waitress for a water, which never came, she walked past our table 6 times, and could have easily gotten and dropped off the water. Instead of staying for dessert, we proceeded to finally get the check, pay and leave. Would I come back? I would, but I would sit at the bar, and hopefully get better service, as I said the atmosphere was killer here, and the food was good.

What a view! A great bar and restaurant to enjoy good food, good service, and on a beautiful day the view of Bristol Bay. I went during the week , but it was busy, so please be prepared, especially with a large group.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was awesome. We had such a beautiful sunset while eating dinner. But the best part about our experience, was the staff. Our waitress Leah was awesome and very on top of everything. The hostess was so impressive, from accommodating us with a stroller to bussing tables, to wrapping all the silver wear. Even the bar tender was out on the floor helping with food deliver and cleaning. Was awesome to watch a staff all pitch in and help each other out when needed. Will be back!!!

Nice place overlooking the water. The food is above average. They overcooked my salmon but the strawberry Cale dessert was out of this world. Live music on certain nights – mediocre cover bands playing the classic rock hits that are from the same generation as the average patron. Service was fine. Staff is pretty laid back. Definitely a sports bar and grill vibe.

The sunset view is breathtaking. As my first time to visit Bristol coming to this place made me wanna come back all the time. Me & my sis in law’a family had our dinner here & ended the night with a cocktail with the mesmerizing sunset. I wish i could go back soon.

Very disappointed in the food, scenery breathtaking taken, the food very disappointed. Was not ask how I would like my hamburger cooked, the chicken wrap was horrible, very little chicken and screeded dark meat, one slice of tomato, more bread wrap then meat. Horrible. For a high end restaurant. The food should be exceptional not cheap like a McDonald’s. This was our anniversary, very disappointed.

Waitress was unbelievably nice and very fast considering we had 2 tables (one just for kids and one for adults). Food was great and the view was very nice. I also pet a dog there so I was very happy. Absolutely amazing. Would recommend.

Beautiful location. Chicken Caesar wrap had good flavor but chicken was dry. Husband said his burger was good but didn’t like the bun. Too many fries (personal preference). Waitress seemed to forget about us. Only got one soda refill (tons of ice in the glass so probably only 8oz or less of soda) and had to get up to pay after waiting for the bill. If we lived here we might try again as everyone has an off day, but we live 27 hours away so won’t be back.
