Loved Thali Indian Grill!! I went there for my birthday on the 7th. Atomosphere was great, food was excellent dessert was divine. The owners, Mr. Gary and Ms Sally, were very courteous and outstanding. I was serenaded by Mr. Stapleton on sax, which made it extra special. I would suggest the Bang Bang Chicken, Tika Marsala, the Roti as well. The Naan bread was excellent and the lycee ice cream dessert. I could go on and on. Ten X ten, would recommend.

Super fun spot! Greta atmosphere, great staff and wonderful food, we got that Tika Masala and garlic naan. Don’t sleep on the fresh fruit juices they have. – I got the fruit punch, wonderful and fresh squeezed.

Extremely unfair reviews by several people, for being the only legit Indian restaurant in Saint Thomas, despite maybe not being 300 percent to a high level let’s say Mumbai or New Delhi standards restaurant with complete Indian authentic flavors, it’s still pretty good, nothing close to what some of these reviews make it out to be .
My wife and I read these reviews and almost did not come here , as I try to visit atleast one Indian restaurant on every visit to all islands like Bahamas, Saint Martin , Cayman Islands etc and food is always slightly different or a little bit less authentic than that found in a congested Indian spot or like New Jersey or Chicago but to review and rate it so unfairly, Shame on those who are doing this.
I feel sympathy for the owner having to defend himself like this . Our waiter Harash was polite courteous and everything that we asked for was brought on time .
The 20% gratuity is standard across Saint Thomas anywhere you go sit down and eat . Get used to it or don’t eat out at all .
And they did nothing special or on top for me to write this review

Thali Indian Grille is my absolute go-to restaurant on island! The food is exceptional — every dish is bursting with rich, authentic flavors that are truly unreal. The staff is always so friendly and attentive, and I love how warm and welcoming the service feels every single time. The food comes out quickly, the portion sizes are generous, and the menu offers such a great variety of unique dishes.
Two of my favorite items to order are the Lobster Roti, made with fresh Caribbean lobster, and the Fish Curry — both are absolutely incredible and packed with flavor. Whether dining in or taking out, the experience is always consistently amazing.

Had the best curry chicken on the island with an amazing ice cold passion fruit mojito. My coworkers recommended this place and they were right. The waiter was super nice and chatted it up as I was one of only 3 people in there. Service was quick and food was great. Definitely a go to now.

Worst food and worst service. The curry was watery and tasteless. No water given, extremely slow staff — we had to go to the counter to place our order. Food was served one item at a time (naan without any sabzi), using plastic cutlery.
Vegetables tasted like poorly cooked frozen items. When we spoke to the manager, there was zero courtesy or consideration — unwilling to cancel items that weren’t served yet and not even open to adjusting the 20% service charge despite the terrible service. Completely unacceptable. Do not waste your time or money here
