Got the combination fried rice, mongolian beed and beef with basil leaves (as we wanted the pork basil leaves but they don’t have it) thai iced tea and I also ordered the mango sticky rice for to go, Everything was so good! If you’re looking for an authentic thai food, thai town is highly recommended. Definitely the best thai food I had!
Also great owners!

Honestly the portion size for a food + the 1hour an half wait doesn’t feel that satisfying. The pace of order is to slow. They were already 2 groups of 4 dinners still waiting before I waited being 3 other online orders.

Food was delicious and the service was on point
Try the Seafood Basil (off menu) and you will enjoy it.
Highly recommend.
Small mom and pop place and this is my new favorite Thai place in the suburbs

Ordered Pad Thai and Pad See Ew online and came with free spring rolls. The spring rolls were very generic, probably from Sysco and a definite pass. Everything else was great! The dishes had that nice wok char/hei taste and they don’t skimp on the protein. I wish they actually had Chinese broccoli but almost no place ever seems to :/. Definitely a solid d Thai place in my opinion. Order was ready when I got there.

Top-notch flavors, service, and restaurant vibe. I got the yellow curry with tofu and was so very delicious. On thicker side, so would suggest making it have a little more liquid as the rice absorbed it quickly and am used to curries being more soupy. They should add a sign as I only knew of them due to GPS search. Very friendly, nice man at cash register & nice lady over the phone. I made modifications to the spice and ingredients; all was accurate and they were very accommodating. Highest ranking of Thai in the area in my opinion.

Delicious, small family Thai restaurant.
Chicken fried rice was wonderful. The Pad Si Ew was delightful. Even the egg rolls were great. Everything was fresh.
I want this place to succeed. They are trying very hard.

This is my new favorite Thai restaurant. It’s a small family owned restaurant which makes me even happier to support them. The food is delicious and they are warm and welcoming. They also have the vegan options very clearly marked, which I appreciate

I ordered over 15 items for our company, and it took 1.5 hours to prepare, well beyond our lunch break. When I arrived, the staff admitted they “missed the order.” Only one person was cooking, and their outdated ordering system clearly caused delays. Be cautious with online orders—expect up to an hour’s wait. The food, however, was excellent. I got the Rama noodles with beef, which had fresh, thick-cut beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and a rich peanut sauce.

ThaiTown is such a hidden gem in Wheeling! It’s a small family-run restaurant where you can truly taste the love and care in every dish. The flavors are rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced — everything tastes freshly made and full of heart.
The place has such a warm, welcoming vibe that makes every visit special. It’s the kind of spot that reminds you how good simple, honest food can be.
Wishing the family behind ThaiTown continued success — you’ve created something truly wonderful, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

My wife and I had the Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao and were delighted. Perfectly sauced , not too oily , a very welcome tasty meal after a long day. I selected the most spicy option and found it adequately spicy for my taste , my wife who can handle a lot of heat said she could handle even more but that’s just personal taste, and not a challenge ️ .
