This is such an awesome place to eat. The owners work there every day. The husband is front of house and the wife cooks. Both are italian. You taste the quality immediately. Real parmesan cheese, freshly made shrimp balls, just pride and high standards. The staff is also friendly and smiling.

Food come out slowly because it is made to order so I can’t recommend this for diners in a rush, but for everyone else, this is a must-eat experience, especially if you splurge on wine to really settle in and enjoy the vibe. The restaurant itself is beautiful at night.

I’ve been on Ko Tao for two years and this is one of my favorite restaurants. It is also by far the freshest food you will eat on the island. Give them a try!

Without a doubt, the best in Koh Tao. The staff and especially the owners are incredibly attentive. A lovely couple who personally attend to and chat with every customer. A truly unique experience. The food is freshly prepared and top-notch. Highly recommended. Great value, quality, and service!

My favorite dish was the Shrimp Kisses. I had to order it twice, even though I had already ordered dessert The staff looked a bit confused, like maybe I ordered it wrong But yes, I just had to eat it again! I finished everything—completely clean
The owners are very nice and kept checking if everything was okay throughout the dinner For me, I really love food—I’m a true food lover If I don’t like the food, I usually don’t leave a review, except when there is more than one serious issue, and I just won’t come back again.Taste really depends on the person.
So if you like this kind of food, enjoy it If you don’t like it, just be kind and don’t compare it with other places I will definitely come back here—this is not my first time visiting

I might be a little sensitive to cigarette smoke from nearby tables, as some guests were smoking while dining. I’m not sure if I happened to choose that seating area myself, but it was fine. I could have asked to move to another table, but I didn’t want to cause any inconvenience.

Probably the best Italian you’ll fine in koh tao.
Everything we ordered felt fresh and well made. We especially enjoyed the spinach ravioli, and the carpaccio.
The chef came to our table to explain some of the dishes on the menu and made sure everything was fine.
A bit expensive, so suitable for a special night.

I’ve been on a ravioli kick lately, and this spinach ravioli was outstanding. The homemade pasta was cooked perfectly and the spinach filling was fresh and flavorful. The butter sauce was rich and comforting without being too heavy, and it complemented the dish beautifully. The portion size was just right and every bite was delicious. I’d easily rate this dish a 9.5/10 and would order it again without hesitation. The staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better.

One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The husband/wife owner duo are incredible people. We ended up coming here for 3 of our 4 nights on Koh Tao. We tried other places but kept coming back here. Thankfully, it was outside of peak season so we didn’t need any reservations – apparently the line is down the street when it is busy.

The food is the best Italian food that we have ever tasted. It was so incredibly flavorful. The restaurant also has a great vibe. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars, Thaita deserves 500.

There are a lot of reasons to visit Koh Tao, make Thaita one of them!

Nothing beats an Italian night when you’re craving great food and a cozy holiday atmosphere. This place is definitely the right choice!
The food was absolutely delicious — I even forgot to take a picture because I was too busy enjoying every bite.
And the dessert? Perfecto! Of course, I went for the tiramisu, and it did not disappoint.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and tasty Italian experience!

Absolutely outstanding experience!
The food here is a true masterpiece of Italian cuisine prepared with finesse and delivered at the highest level. I had one of the best carbonaras I’ve ever tasted, perfectly balanced and authentic. The burrata was delicious and clearly top quality, just like the ingredients in every dish we tried.

Huge compliments to the chef for such exceptional cooking!
The owner was very friendly and helpful, which made the whole visit even better.

I look at the other reviews and thought ‘why not?’. What a bland experience unfortunately. Very basic Italian restaurant and their ravioli with seafood did not taste of anything special at all. The bruschettas was very boring also.
The prices are in the high end compared to the lovely other restaurants in the area so I would rather stick to the Asian cuisine as this was not a very nice welcome back to the European kitchen. But the waiter was very sweet and their house wine was fine. The atmosphere was also nothing special.
