I came here for dinner with my boyfriend and his family and it did not disappoint! I am a fiend for Thai food and loved the variety of options on the menu, including the street food options which I feel like are not super common on US menus. For appetizers, we got the satay and chive dumplings. Definitely wouldn’t call them dumplings but they were very crispy and went perfectly with the sauce. The satay had a really nice char flavor to it. For entrees, we got the pad thai, beef khao soi, drunken noodles, and crying tiger steak. All were fantastic! The pad thai reminded me of Thailand, but definitely needed more spice. The drinks were also creative and refreshing. The only offputting thing was that our server brought the check out without checking to see if we wanted dessert. I really wanted to try the mango sticky rice….

The food at this restaurant is very delicious and clean. I’ve tried countless Thai restaurants in Maryland, but this place truly stands out and has become one of my favorites.
The female server named Didi provided excellent service, she was very attentive and took great care of us. I’ve been here twice, and both times I was lucky to have Didi as our server.
The manager was also very nice and polite, which made the overall experience even better.

Last Friday, I went to a Thai restaurant in Rockville with my friend. The food was so delicious, and the customer service was very nice. The restaurant was beautiful inside. It was my first time trying Kai Pao tofu, and I was surprised how good it tasted. I usually don’t eat tofu, but now I feel motivated to eat it more. Thank you, ThaiRock, for such a great experience! Definitely coming back with more friends next time! ✨

I was in the Rockville area and I decided to stop by this Thai restaurant. I actually really love Thai food.
The restaurant was very warm and cozy. The aesthetics were beautiful! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to sit down and dine, so I order carry out.
The host was very warm and welcoming. I explained to him that I just wanted to order and take my food with me. He was pleasant about it and asked me to please sit by the bar as I waited.
In the meantime, I ordered a mocktail and the bartender prepared a combination of grenadine and pineapple juice that tasted fantastic! He did not have a mocktail menu, but whatever he did was great. He also put a little umbrella in it for me.
The food did not take long to prepare.
I got home and opened up my spread. I order some fish cakes, Pad Ka Pow ( it has basil leaves in it) and Pad Ped Thairock ( a combination of shellfish).I love spicy food and these two are spicy.
When I say, I went to heaven eating that! I mean it! It was so flavorful and mouth watering!♥️
I must say the spices are strong, so authenticity is there!
I will highly recommend this place if you want to eat great Thai food!
I parked on the side of the street, but there is a parking garage as well. I don’t know if they will validate your ticket. I didn’t ask.

The food is on point: moo ping is flavorful and smoky, mango sticky rice is soft and perfectly sweet, Thai iced tea is fragrant and not overly sweet. Drunken noodles and pad see ew are well-seasoned with chewy noodles, fried egg rolls are crispy, and the pineapple fried rice is aromatic and delicious
The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Definitely worth coming back ✨

My family and I visited Thairock after it reopened
following six day of closure, and we realized how much we had missed the great food and service here. We were so happy to see the restaurant open again! The food was delicious as always, and we could oreder everything we like. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

I had a fantastic meal at Thairock! We ordered the fried tofu, crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli, and chicken fried rice. Every dish was perfectly portioned and incredibly delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the area, and the restaurant has a great location with plenty of parking. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We’ve tried several Thai restaurants nearby, but this one stands out as truly authentic. We’ll definitely be back!
