This place is a wonderful bit of Thai flavor and friendliness. The Pad Prik-king was excellent and was prepared to order with lean meats and vegetables still with just a bit of a snap to them. So happy to have found good Thai food with such a friendly staff out in Narvik of all places

They lie about their opening hours, the restaurant was closed at 2:13 PM on Sunday. Please update it or actually open if you say you’re open.
You can edit the opening hours on Google by clicking “suggest new hours” next to it. The incorrect hours were also printed on a paper right next to the entrance though.

I had to check this place out when the owner made a roasting post on Facebook hanging out customers who didnt buy enough food, and made accusations to gain sympati.
I ordered a delux box of a little bit of everything from the pre heated selection. It had a noodle stew, rice, marinaded chicken breast baked in bread, a scampi, a meat spear and spring roll.
I really loved the marinaded chicken breast, the breading was too thick tho. The scampi was rubbery, the meat spear was chewy, the spring roll was good and the noodle stew was ok, bit too salty.
All in all, ok food that is cheap, I wouldnt order from the pre heated selection again, but the stews are good when fresh.
As for the customet service – eh – complaining about the other emploeys work to the customers and making dramatic gestures that the spring rolls wasnt stacked correctly isnt really nice. So work on that, and dont roast guests on your Facebook.

We had a good experience at Thaikjokken! The food was authentic, delicious and quick to serve! The owner, P’Nan, was very friendly and welcoming when we first stepped inside the place. We ended going back there 2 days in a row as we were still in the area. They also offer a buffet style lunch/dinner if you’d like in addition to made-to-order dishes on the menu. Very convenient! Also, Thaikjokken offers a supermarket to those who are interested in purchasing more Thai ingredients, snacks, goods, etc. Again, if you happen to be in the Narvik area, we’d definitely recommend Thaikjokken as a good option to dine in/take away your meal, thank you!
