This is the first time here. I tried many different Thai restaurant but this by far is the most favorable and delicious Thai food I ever had. Genuinely some of the best service and food I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant in the whole metro area. The two waitresses were so friendly. I tried the jalapeño eggroll, coconut soup, papaya salad, tofu salad, shrimp pad Thai, and the shrimp eggplant. Everything was amazing. I will be back again and again and again. FYI you. The Thai chili pepper is hot. Order number 2 hot if you can’t handle the spicy and like spicy. This is a top Thai restaurant in New Orleans and metro area I ever had. The owner even come out to greet us. I will be back again and again.

Had the red curry eggplant stir fry and crab rangoon—both were very tasty and packed with flavor. Portions were huge, especially the crab rangoon! Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and super satisfying. Definitely worth it and would order again

They have the prettiest and most delicious thai tea. I’ve had several dishes from their menu and everything is so good but my all time favorite is the Hawaiian fried rice with shrimp added

I want to start off by saying, “If I could give this restaurant more stars, I would!” I can’t believe I waited the over two years it’s been open to visit this place for the first time. First of all, the wait staff, Luan, Tommie, and Lexi, were so attentive, courteous, and friendly. They made sure that we were satisfied with our order, especially after my husband and I shared it was our first time eating Thai food. They made suggestions and recommendations that made our experience that much better! Now let me talk about the food! OMG, delicious is just the tip of the iceberg of my satisfaction with the food. It came out pipping hot, was fresh, tasty, and the portions were just right! If you are looking for a place to eat some great food, be served by a warm and attentive staff, in a cozy atmosphere, you have to visit this restaurant!

Updated review: went back here after coming in from out of town. This time I went in and ordered my meal to go. The wait staff was patient and kind and made sure to get my order correct. I thought we would have to wait a long time but after placing my order, it took about twenty to thirty minutes. I didn’t watch the time, but it felt long enough to good everything thoroughly! I got in my car and immediately my car smelled of the delicious aroma of the fried rice! I couldn’t wait to unpack and enjoy! Once again, very pleased with this gem in the heart of New Orleans!

Thanks to my friend Britney, I discovered a true culinary treasure—Thai’d Up—and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment you walk in, the cozy, quaint atmosphere and warm, inviting staff make you feel instantly at home. The attention to detail is impressive—even the utensils sparkle!

But let’s talk about the real star: the food. It’s nothing short of spectacular. This isn’t just Thai food—it’s Thai cuisine elevated to an art form. Every dish bursts with flavor, freshness, and care. You can truly taste the pride the chef pours into each beautifully crafted dish.

The roti flatbread? Light, flaky, and downright heavenly—like eating a savory cloud. It’s a must-have every single time. The Pad Thai is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the red curry is rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious.

An extra bonus? You can customize your spice level, which I love. If you like a little heat, I recommend starting with a level 1. Thai’d Up doesn’t mess around—those spice levels can definitely put some hair on your chest!

If you think you know good Thai food, think again. Thai’d Up will completely redefine your expectations and keep you coming back for more. Once you’ve eaten here, no other Thai restaurant will compare.
