The pad thai was solid with a great noodle texture, and I also enjoyed the pineapple fried rice with the fragrant roasted cashews, onion, and pineapple chunks.
With three locations across the South Bay, this spot is worth checking out if you’re in the area and hungry.
The Tom Yum Soup is a must-order — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the mango sticky rice… honestly, it might be the biggest portion in the Bay Area! Super generous and so satisfying.
Great food, great value, and a place I’ll definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
The Tom Yum soup really stood out. Not every Thai restaurant gets it right, but this one absolutely nails it—the flavor is bold, well-balanced, and tastes genuinely authentic.
Portion sizes are great, prices are very reasonable, and the overall quality is impressive for the cost. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends!
Here are some of my must-order favorites:
• Tom Yum Hot Pot – rich, tangy, aromatic, and perfect for sharing.
• BBQ Garlic Butter Chicken – juicy, well-marinated, and packed with flavor.
• Satay Chicken – tender and served with a dense dipping sauce.
• Penang Curry – creamy, fragrant, and beautifully balanced.
• Basil Bamboo – super flavorful with a satisfying mix of textures.
• Mango Sticky Rice – a wonderful, comforting dessert to end the meal.
Some dishes that were nice, but not a must-have for me:
• Grilled Lemongrass Pork
• Salaw Buh Khur
• Papaya Salad
• Fresh Rolls
At this restaurant each person will have it own order confirmation. There are plenty item to choose from the menu. We ordered couple of appetizers like roti prata, Corn fritter and spring roll. The outstanding one is corn fritter. it is unique the way they fry it. I never seen this before. it is yummy but a bit may be overcooked as it is a bit dark color. Eggroll skin is too tough and chewy. I wish it is crunchy. Roti is good.
For the main course , the highlight is the spicy cat fish with eggplant. The rest are ok. The portion of many dishes are huge. I can say it is for 2 people. Pad Thai is good and not too sweet, Fried rice is yummy, the Curry are good but I find better curry at other Thai restaurant. I feel something is missing from the curry. The price is reasonable.
Pineapple Fried Rice – This was the star of the night! The balance of sweet pineapple with savory rice and a hint of curry was on point. Not greasy at all, and the portion size was generous.
House Fried Rice – Simple but really comforting. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the garlic + onion flavor really stood out. I had it with chicken, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned.
Service was friendly and quick, and the staff actually checked in more than once to make sure everything was okay, which I appreciated.
Prices are reasonable for the Bay Area—definitely good value considering the portion sizes.
If you’re craving Thai food but want something that feels a bit more unique than the typical spots, Thaibodia is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back to try their curries and noodle dishes next time!
The only thing missing that my company and I preferred was the actual menu. We really don’t like scanning QR codes. But at least, it’s really nice that we didn’t need a reservation. We just walked in. Awesome!
Quite authentic and very spacious setting. Would visit again.
Service was decent too! Waitress was very attentive to our table.
