Reviews
The prawn crackers were super crunchy with great seasoning. The tempura prawns were perfectly crispy and a generous portion, especially for an entrée for two.
We also tried the Massaman and Green curries. The Massaman was traditional, rich in flavour and a large serving. The Green curry had a nice spicy kick, also a big portion and really well balanced.
Highly recommend for a late, rainy night when you’re craving Thai but don’t want to leave the house. Delicious and satisfying!
Note: drinks pictured not purchased from this store.
The only pros I would say is that the portion is generous and you will definitely leave with a full stomach. The pineapple fried rice is ok, a bit greasy, the pineapple is still sour and undercooked as well, so it keeps all the unripe stinginess.
I generally don’t recommend having Thai curries in this country, I don’t know why all the Thai food places I’ve been in the UK let you select the meat in the curry as a conventional thing. This actually means the meat is added too late to get any flavour from the curry. I ordered a green curry, the overall flavour is ok, it was a bit more spicy than what I expected, but the texture was too dense and granulated as I can actually taste the powder, but I have had worse Thai curries in the UK at even higher price, so I’ll give this one a pass.
May 2020: We came back again and were keen to try the Pad Thai. This was after watching the Facebook live update showing the chef making their homemade sauce. We asked for tofu Pad Thai – takeaway of course during the lockdown.
When we got back home I had to weigh it (yeah I’m one of those people that use apps to count calories!) and was surprised with the huge portion; 700 grams fantastic value for money! I therefore split this over two days, but would have been happy to binge on all of it at once!
This is one of the best Pad Thai I have had in the UK and is similar to what you’ll get in Thailand. I suggest asking for extra sauce, but that’s just my personal preference!

December review: Thai2Go opened in December and I can’t stop returning! The food is authentic and is so so tasty. Large portion sizes make it great value for money. I’ve never tasted better spring rolls, but everything is delicious! BTW we came back and now hooked on their green curry. Best ever
The taste actually good, if you want to taste Thai food. I think this is better than another Thai food in the town.
The manager is kind and smile all the time.
The green curry is packed with tasty vegetables and chicken, with tonnes of an amazing fragrant sauce.
Try the Chips and curry sauce, its a delight. A crisp fluffy chip with an amazing coconut milk based sauce.
The delivery service is fantastic, polite and very quick. Thai2Go is our go to for a Thai takeaway.
Update Jan 2026. Yet another return trip. Some places you eventually go off but not here. First and foremost the service is wonderful. A little goes a long way: the welcome, the smiles, the desire to be helpful. The food always comes quickly. It’s not garnished, it’s not amazing but it’s simple, good, generously portioned & reliably consistent.
