Exceptionally good authentic Thai food!

Prawn spring roll is crispy, prawn inside is bouncy, nice!

Spicy fried rice has a perfect level of spiciness, the rice is dry, not mushy.

Pad see ew with beef is my hubby’s favourite, dark soy sauce highlighted the dish.

Pad Thai is very flavourful, glass noodles are chewy. Pad Thai in most of restaurants in Australia are usually too sweet for our taste buds, but this one is different, really authentic.

Mango sticky rice – oh my goodness it is so delicious! The coconut milk has a hint of saltiness, well balanced taste!

Atmosphere and environment is nice, pretty and neat little restaurant in regional town. Friendly staff.

Highly recommended!

Phenomenal.
Fresh veggies, amazing flavours and colours.
My children ate everything.
Mixed entrees, money bags.
Duck and lychee curry.
Pineapple fried rice, pad Thai and the best tom kha I’ve ever eaten.

So very glad we stopped on our way through.
Will absolutely go again.

Im halfway through my meal, and I had to stop to write a review!!!!

I eat out ALOT, but rarely leave reviews.

Its that bloody good. Im on a road trip from Melbourne, back home to Kyogle…. I am so appreciative to have an epic meal like this.

Up there with the best Thai that I’ve ever had.

Eating a TOFU Panang curry, coconut rice on side, + fried tofu on side.

If I lived in Cowra I’d be here a few nights a week, thats for sure.

Thankyou!!

Great lunch specails, and very friendly service. We got a green curry and a duck curry – SO YUMMY! The only thing we could fault was the coconut rice was a little sweet, but still yum.

Thai Yim was the first restaurant we visited during our weekend stay in Cowra, traveling from Canberra. From the moment we entered, I was impressed by the lovely setup and the warm welcome — a kind lady greeted us with a beautiful smile and showed us to our table. ☺️

The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. One of the ladies even came over for a quick, friendly chat, which made us feel especially welcome. Our food arrived in about 5 minutes — we had the Thai seafood fried rice and Pad See Ew noodles with pork. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and generous in portion, more than enough for two! I also appreciated the hot water they provided upon request.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic, tasty Thai food at a reasonable price.

Great dining experience at this authentic thai restaurant. Staff is friendly and the food had authentic thai flavors; lucky to have tried the lunch hour specials. I asked for 2 half portions of separate dishes: the pineapple fried rice and the tomyum soup.
The service time is fairly reasonable, ambience is neat and has amazing views.

First time in Cowra looking for somewhere offering vegan options or lunch. Was thrilled to find this restaurant. We were greeted warmly and served promptly. Was told that any main dish we wanted could be modified vegan. We had vegan pad Thai and the peanut satay along with the crispy tofu as an entree. Food was delicious. We plan to go back for dinner tomorrow. Never experience any other cafe or restaurant so willing to be versatile and cater for vegans. Not expensive either. Highly recommended.

First time trying the new establishment.
Beautiful fresh, light and visually appealing food with amazing fresh flavours.
We had entree: 4 steamed dim sims, 4 fried golden bags. Main: chicken panang curry, crispy pork belly with stirfry fresh greens. Then dessert we ordered a fried banana fritter to share with vanilla ice cream.
Came with rice (which we decided to omit) and a complimentary soft drink (which we also omitted and ordered a pot of green tea for 2 instead)
Did not disappoint. Was exactly what we ordered and service was pleasant.
Was priced well for what we ordered.
Will be back more often for sure!

The people working there are all super friendly and very welcoming. The food was incredible. The satay reminded me exactly of ‘The Malaya’ satay restaurant. It really is that good. All the dishes were fresh and full of flavour. I would highly recommend ‘Thai Yim’ in Cowra. PS. We had already eaten half of it before taking photo. The serving size is very generous too.
