Everything about this place was great. From the start I loved the cozy little outdoor seating area made from a shipping container, such a cleaver way to utilize space. Our server Maddie was attentive, helpful, and gave excellent suggestions and service. We got Thai Iced Tea which was perfectly sweet. I got the Garlic and Pepper Stir Fried with the beef, they accommodated no green pepper without a problem. The portion size was just enough to be stuffed. Husband got the Cashew Nuts Stir Fried, he said it was amazing that he only wished it had more cashews. They brought out the spices so we could moderate our own comfort level. Over all I was very impressed by our first impressions here and will be back.

Family visiting from the West Coast and we decided to stop in for lunch at Thai Won On. From the moment we walked through the door, we were met with warm smiles and genuine positive energy. The food reminded me of the best home-cooked Thai meals I’ve ever had—rich in flavor and full of heart.
The owner came out to talk with us and shared her story, which added so much soul to the experience. Beautiful people, beautiful energy, and incredible food. They even had live music and a wide variety of menu options to choose from.
I ended up buying a T-shirt and hat and definitely plan on continuing to support this local spot. After just one visit, it instantly became a favorite. If you’re looking for amazing Thai food and truly authentic, welcoming people, I highly recommend stopping in.

A lovely restaurant! Unique set up and lots of tables to gather at. Beautiful authentic Thai artwork along an entire wall depicting a historical development of Thailand. That is nothing compared to the delicious food! We met the owner and cook/chef a sweet woman originally from Thailand who definitely is a gifted visionary and chef. I recommend doing what we did and ordering a variety of different dishes to share at the table. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and size of the plates.

From the moment we walked in it was a great experience. This was the first time I’ve had Thai food and asked questions because I can’t eat spicy food. Our server directed me to what was best to try and he was correct it wasn’t spicy and tasted great. The spring rolls are a must try and the dipping sauce was perfect. You gotta try this place if you have never been! We will be going back soon!!

LOVE….LOVE…LOVE this place. We owned a Thai restaurant for years in Macon (Lemongrass Bistro) and…this place is better overall. Especially the street food options, dank and hot ! Papaya salad is perfection! Beef tender…great vibe and a funky space. We had a blast! The owner is sweet and the service was fun, great staff. If you crave heat, they have ALL the condiments! We ate everything so fast, I forgot to take pics until we were finished, we’ll post more our next visit.

This was my second visit to Thai Won On and it was just as great as the first! The space is so cute, with a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. I especially love the outdoor seating area—it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the weather.
The food is excellent; I’ve tried a few dishes now and have been impressed every time. The cocktails are also fantastic and a great way to start the meal. The service was absolutely spot on, making the entire experience even better.
Thai Won On is a fantastic addition to the downtown Monroe scene, which has improved so much over the years. It’s definitely a must-try!

We cannot wait to go back! The food was absolutely amazing. Everything thing we had was flavorful, hot, and fresh. The selection of chili oils and spices were on point. If you are a fan of Thai Hot, this is the place to go. Spicy? YES! But not so spicy that it detracts from the flavor. Drinks were good, ambiance was great, service was fast and friendly. Our first visit won’t be our last!

We are so happy we found this place!! Authentic Thai food made fresh and with love and care! Everything we ordered was delicious. Tookie and Marissa were friendly and attentive and made us feel right at home! Next time, we plan on trying something different and washing it down with one of their special drinks! Loved the super cool, chill vibe and layout. We will most definitely return! Probably more often than I care to admit. !!
