Very expensive ($15.99, $17.31 after tax) and all I got was slightly spicy curry sauce with chicken and a small cup of rice. Nothing else was in the curry. No basil, no veggies, no meaningful amount of peanuts (there were maybe 3 nuts minced and mixed in). They also didn’t give me any utensils or napkins for my to-go order. I had to get them from my hotel. The flavor of the curry wasn’t terrible so 2 stars instead of 1.

I have ordered food here several times but today was my first time offering Mussaman Beef Curry. It was delicious and piping hot. The creamy curry broth was seasoned so perfectly, the potatoes and beef were tender and the rice too. The rice absorbed all the broth keeping the flavor of the dish. I would’ve loved a couple of more slices of beef and potatoes, the peanuts maybe a little fresher but none of this took away from the dish! I enjoyed my meal.
* The restaurant has limited hours lunch stops at 2:00pm and dinner resumes at 5:00pm.
There is a noticeable odor, only in the vestibule that the air freshener is not able to manage. Might be time to replace the floor tiles and see if it eliminates it. The dining room had no odor detected and should not take away from dining in.

This place is buzzing with people so takeout was about 40mins. However the food was delicious! Best Thai fried rice we ever had from all the states been to, this one is number 1. The Pad Thai was good as well! Happy to stop here for a late dinner.

The peanut curry with chicken and 4/5 spicy was absolute perfection. The noodles were extra flavourful and thick which you don’t get very often.

Drunken noodles were great but salty ; the shrimp they use is not great. We asked to have it remade & it came out way better (bc of the saltiness). Beef cashew lacked flavor & was very watery. I did like the fact that they’re very generous with the cashews. Mango & sticky rice plus my thai tea was perfect. Service was ok. I would honestly try a different place before coming back. The area it’s in is also terrible, but then again it is South Raleigh…

Having tried several Thai restaurants around the triangle area we can conclude that Thai Villa has the best flavours. The setting is simple and not overcrowded, the flavours speak for themselves. We will back again for sure.

GREAT food. GREAT price. Service was pretty good. I went with a group, all the food anyone had tried before was well reviewed. They seemed open and amenable to slight ingredient changes to accommodate those with palate issues (like no peppers, extra broccoli, etc). Overall highly recommended for price, quality and quantity of food and great service. Probably not where I would choose for a fancy date, but clean and well lit.

Went here on a Saturday after noon. We have Ordered a soup and two dishes. Soup was okay but both of the veg dishes were well done and tasty.
