The waiter could have killed me! We specifically told him about my food allergies multiple times and he claimed he understood. We checked and rechecked several times to make sure….. But, he was wrong and served multiple things with allergens in them. There goes my entire roadtrip down the drain. Thanks.
It all tasted good but if you have allergies it’s not worth the risk. Stay away. Stay alive!

Great vegan restaurant! The best cheese I have ever had is the vegan cheese at Thai Vegan! Plenty of other delicious menu items without the, “best cheese in the world” as an ingredient though. Decorations and furnishings include beautiful Buddha figures. Great lighting. Friendly service.

The restaurant hours say they are open until 9. We arrived at 8:30 and were told that they would no longer seat anyone, but that we could order takeout (as had several other people who were milling around in the front). We opted to just do that, since even on Friday night, the whole town seems completely dead. When one of our party realized that there were specials (listed on a board, not the menu), he asked to change his order. The cashier canceled the wrong dish; when this was brought to her attention, she responded with lots of sighing and menu-slamming. We were not given napkins, chopsticks, or anything else with our takeout, which really sucks since we are traveling. The quality of food for the money wasn’t worth it. Spring rolls were clearly thrown from a freezer into a fryer. Sautéed veggies sauce was like water. Crispy noodles were just that–a pile of crisped noodles with a bite or two of cabbage–$10 for that? Would not recommend. :/

Great place! Finding all vegan cuisine in Santa Fe was a challenge for my family, but we showed up here and sat down. I was looking over the menu, and they had a wide variety of vegan Thai and vegan American food. I ordered the Pad Thai and the Freshy Rolls. Both were amazing, and cooked to my preferences (I am quite picky). I would have tried everything on the menu if we weren’t on a time crunch. The only bad thing was that they were short-staffed and it took a little while longer. Definetly worth the trip!

We have been going to Thai Vegan since they opened in Santa Fe. Initially, the food was great and take-out worked well. We go to Thai Vegan about two to three times per month. Lately, the food quality and service have declined significantly. When ordering take-out, we once received something completely different than what we ordered. The last straw was. two days ago, we ordered two noodle dishes, chicken satay, and the cucumber salad. The chicken satay was some gooey unidentifiable substance (for certain not the “chicken” we use to get), one of the noodle dishes came in one block of noodle dough, overcooked and seemingly at least one day old. The cucumber salad had huge cucumber pieces (to big to put into your mouth without cutting it twice) and a cloyingly sweetened dressing. Overall, it seems that either recipes have changed or the food preparation was unprofessional and careless. We will not be going to Thai Vegan for a long time.

My girlfriend and I each ordered a plate of food. Well, the waitress accidentally takes her food to the wrong table, where a patron accidentally takes a bite. My food is delivered to our table, but a replacement place for my girlfriend is delayed. After she and I split our meal, the waitress stops by and asks if we ever got her plate replaced.
Well, it never came, and the waitress did not seem too bothered about it. We paid for my plate, and left.
I will say, my food was good. Sincerely. But the customer service was absent.

They lie about their operating hours. I showed up at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. The waitress informed me that the will only do to go orders after 8:30. I guess they have a lazy staff that doesn’t want to conform to their posted hours. They might have good food but I will never know because I have no tolerance for this tactic.
Be honest about your hours!!! You close at 8:30 but are willing to make to go orders till 9:00.

Excellent vegan Thai food, flavorful and well-prepared. The rice serving is a little small. Unfortunately, they’ll be closing at the end of July 2017 due to sale of the building — keep your eyes open for a new location.

I like this place. I will reflect others sentiments that the service is rude. The server literally asked me, “What do ya want?” Mgmt *really* needs to step up the training.
They sometimes have live music which is way, way too loud. The restaurant is tiny and the singers don’t need mics and amps. We asked them to turn it down, which of course they did not do.
They claim to be organic but they are *not* all organic by a long shot. Order with care if you want organic.
I like the banana rice dessert and the seaweed soup. The pad thai was a bit dry and lacked complexity. I will still be back to try other dishes.

Good service, great selections of vegan food. We came twice on our trip and tried several dishes, which were all good. I even tried the bacon burger (obviously vegan) which was surprisingly great. Great vegan eats here.
