Thai Town in downtown Orange is a solid spot for Thai food with a chill, laid-back vibe that makes the experience worth the visit. I went with some friends and we shared an order of the Pad Thai noodles with chicken, house fried rice with tofu, and yellow curry with chicken and potatoes. The food overall was decent and satisfying. The Pad Thai had a nice, slightly sweet flavor and was cooked just right—classic comfort food with tender pieces of chicken mixed in. The fried rice with tofu was simple but tasty, with a good texture and well-balanced seasoning that didn’t overpower. The yellow curry was creamy and mild, featuring long pieces of chicken and potatoes that soaked up the rich coconut flavor nicely. The chicken was tender the potatoes were very firm.
Inside, the restaurant has a clean and casual feel—nothing fancy, but comfortable and easy to relax in. The real bonus, though, is the atmosphere outside. Downtown Orange has a super chill vibe, and it adds a lot to the experience. Whether you’re eating inside and stepping out afterward or grabbing takeout to enjoy nearby, the location makes a difference.

the food had a burned taste like they never change or wash their wok… also the portions are very small and the prices are expensive compared to other thai places, I am not coming back…

We had a great experience, from start to finish. The waitresses were on it with waiting on us. The food was delicious, we had wonton soup, the noodle soup with pork, and the massaman curry lvl 4 spicy. The lvl 4 spicy was just right, and the noodle soup couldn’t have hit the spot even better.
