This was my first time trying this restaurant and I guess has been open for around a year now. We get set with eating at our favorite restaurants so it’s hard to give places a try but I’m glad I did. We ordered a papaya salad Thai style medium spicy and was super nice. I ordered a Pad Se Ew with tofu and was super flavorful too….really nice. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was a cube fried tofu…they said if I wanted sliced thinner next time they would do for me so that’s nice of them. My friend ordered a panang curry with tofu and he said was very nice too. It was a nice chill relaxed vibe so that was good. Ok a bit of an update….went back again and not sure why but all 3 dishes my friend and I ordered were very salty. So much so we really felt it all night. Not sure why but over sodium vibes really can be no fun. Hope they sort that out food was good otherwise if not so salty….it was very noticeable.

Edit from 1st order: 2nd time ordering, I went with my first time choices. 3rd time ordering, and I got the Cucumber Salad and Crab Meat Fried Rice. Crab Meat Fried Rice is phenomenal! Everyone should try it! GREAT service and food. Will be ordering a lot from now on!
GREAT first experience with Thai Town! I ordered the Oyster Sauce entree with the meat choice as tofu. Excellent portions, served with jasmine rice. They even gifted me with 2 crab rangoons and a perfect portion of sweet & sour sauce with it! The sauce by the way is the best sweet & sour I’ve had, hands down. Will definitely be ordering again soon!

My wife and I dined in on opening night and the food and staff was wonderful. The menu was a little confusing as you can add any meat to an entre meal. My wife had the Curry Fried Rice with Chicken and I had the Veggie Fried Rice with Chicken. We also got the chicken dumplings and they were excellent along with the dipping sauce. The lady that waited on us was patient with us and was attentive. The food was a good portion and the prices were reasonable.

Delicious Thai food! The Massaman curry is delicious.. one of the best I’ve had. For the tofu lovers, the tiny cubed tofu is delicious in it! Spring roll was excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy- the little heaters on the booths are a great addition. The staff were all friendly and welcoming as well. I’ll definitely be back!

My family and I went to Thai Town 5 and I have to say having been to Thailand, this food is really, really good. I Had the Soon Sen Pad Thai, which is a wide noodle version of the normal glass noodle version, and it was awesome just like I remembered in Pattaya Thailand. If you live in the area, check this gem out.

I came a few times. Every dish I ordered was fabulous! If you wanna try authentic Thai food in town, this is it! Pad See Ew, Crab fried rice, and Chicken/Pork Basil are all as nice as I had in Thailand.

Came here on my lunch break and first of all the place is cute and cozy. We were seated and the workers were very nice and helpful. Food was excellent, I got the lunch special Pad Thai. Definitely would recommend! I will be back!

This is the newest location of a longtime family owned restaurant well loved by customers of South Elgin location. You can expect the same great Thai food and friendly service in this Sycamore location. Highly recommended.
