Reviews
From the moment I opened the containers, I knew I was about to be fed right. Let’s get into the P & C’s on this meal.
⸻
Pros:
• I started with the Tom Yum Kai (Spicy Chicken Soup)—and listen, I’m not exaggerating when I say it was cooked to perfection. The broth was rich and full of flavor, with a bold chicken essence and that “razzle dazzle” you don’t get from basic soups. It had green peppers, mushrooms, and tender chicken nestled at the bottom, soaking up every bit of that seasoned broth like a hidden treat waiting to be scooped.Thick, flavorful, and comforting. A win from the first sip.
• Next up, the 3-flavor wings (lemon pepper, sriracha sweet chili honey, and sweet & sour) came paired with flavorful rice that gave fried rice vibes without being too greasy. The wing flavoring? Chef’s kiss.
• The Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles) came with veggies that were crisp and vibrant—carrots, onions, snow peas, bean sprouts, scallions, and eggs all stir-fried to still have that bite. Not soggy, not overdone. Just fresh and full of flavor.
The portion? Let’s just say the styrofoam container split from the weight. Enough said.
• I also ordered the House Noodles with beef and medium spice—loaded with lo mein noodles, veggies, and flavor. While I discovered I’m not a thick noodle girl, it was still flavorful and packed with goodness.
• Real talk: I ate off this order for three whole days. Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday. Morning, lunch, and dinner. And I didn’t share—not a bite. It was that good.
⸻
Cons:
• The house noodles weren’t for me not because of the seasoning, but simply because I realized I’m not a fan of thicker or egg-style noodles. Give me those angel/glass noodles any day.
• The wings lost a little crisp from the packaging. That steam trapped in the paper container made them a little soft. I’d definitely try them fresh in the restaurant next time to get the full crunch experience.
⸻
Final Thoughts:
Even with the minor critiques, this was a solid 10/10.
From the quality to the quantity, to the layered flavors—Thai Time gave what it needed to give and then some. I feasted like a queen, enjoyed every bite, and found my new go-to Thai spot. I will be ordering again.
They didn’t use an excessive amount of oil which I loved and it was piping hot when it got to me (ordered DoorDash)
I will say it’s a little on the sweeter side which I’m not too much a fan of but it doesn’t take away from how good it is 8/10 definitely recommend and would get again !!
If you like spice then I’d recommend going up a notch and getting medium !!
It’s very little to no spice with mild
The food was absolutely delicious, though “medium spicy” clearly means something very different in Thai than it does in English. I spent half the meal alternating between pure bliss and wondering if my taste buds would ever recover.
The best part? My wallet survived the experience. For the price of a mediocre sandwich elsewhere, I got enough authentic Thai food for three meals.
Will I be back? Already planning my return visit. I’m currently training my spice tolerance and learning to say “Thai spicy” without my voice cracking.
pho is comfort food, we tried the beef, and they do a great job with it. the chicken massaman was hearty, and had a balanced flavor. the green curry was fresh and light. the curry duck was much better than expected, very little fat, slightly sweet and spicy. the duck was grilled with light char, in an aromatic sauce. shrimp basil rolls, coconut soup, fried tofu… all were presented well and tasted great. we ordered it all to go, and it arrived on time, well packed.
now that we tried the basics, we look forward to the rest of the menu.
we forgot to get good photos. too hungry. here’s ultra close ups of the massaman with a few bean sprouts we added, and the duck curry.
