Whenever I’m in the area, I always head to this place as they never disappoint! Food is amazing as always and as authentic as you can get.

The only critique I would give is that their decorations are a little dated with the fake flowers and they are a little pricey for the portion the give but they have a good lunch deal on the weekdays and the quality of the food you pay for is beyond worth it.

I will gladly admit that I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to Thai food. I almost always order Pad Thai. That might seem boring, but I like the dish and it’s a good way to compare restaurants. Thai Terrace is one of the best I’ve had. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the spiciness is a little inconsistent. However, I’m willing to chalk that up to varying depending upon who’s cooking on a given day. They have four levels of spiciness. I usually go with #2, medium. It’s usually within my range of spice tolerance.

We also order typically a lot of appetizers. They have some really good ones. The pork dumplings are delicious. The chicken satay is incredibly tender. They also have one called Thai Shrimp Green Wrap that’s really unique and tasty. It consists of shrimp, peanuts, coconut, sweet chili sauce, lime, scallions, ginger and red onions in a lettuce wrap. It seems like a lot of ingredients but they all combine incredibly well.

We occasionally try new local Thai restaurants as we discover them, but we always seem to wind up back at Thai Terrace. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quiet and peaceful; the owners and their staff are really friendly and the food never disappoints.

Sadly I have driven past Thai Terrace for many years but never again. We walked into a cozy, very clean, modern restaurant with a Thai flare. Our waitress, Bonnie, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu we didn’t have to look at the menu. Soup… dinner… dessert… was flavour after flavour building upon each course. How did I not know about this place? Thai Terrace is definitely a place to keep coming back to.

I order from this place all the time, and whenever I order online I always call and ask for my order of curry to be made with spicy level 4/5. They always answer right away, they are always very friendly, and I’ve never had a bad meal. This is one of my favorite places to get food from, and I do so nearly every single week because of how great they take requests and the consistency of delicious meals. If I could afford it, I would probably get food from here three times a week!

Got a green curry fried rice for takeout. Paying almost $18 for a fried rice entree I was notified in a pretty sassy tone that it doesn’t come with a side. Okay. The portion was small! Though, the rice was tasty, I wouldn’t call it gourmet. It also wasn’t spicy, even though it has “spicy” in the name.
I would recommend “Pinto Thong Thai Cuisine” instead. Just 15 minutes away, much more humble about their food and they actually do deliver on the spice and food quality without overcharging you.

If you like Thai cuisine and you haven’t dined at Thai Terrace you are missing out! It’s tucked away in a small shopping plaza, but don’t let the location deter you! The food is authentic and simply delicious! The 3 course $10 lunch specials are an awesome deal. I also love the Thai iced tea! Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This is the best restaurant in Washington Township!! I have ordered take out so many times over the years, and eaten in, bringing my own beer.

Everything is customizable! Spicy level and certain ingredients can be left out etc, but you must ask for what you want. The only things with gluten are the fried items.

The owner and her family run this place with family member chefs from Thailand so they really know what they are doing!! Along with the nice older manager lady and a few younger wait staff. If the front end manager lady is working, make sure you ask her any questions you have about regarding Thai food, and she’ll help you!

For me, I love the Chicken Satay skewers, with gluten free peanut sauce! Also ❤️ Khao Kriab Pak Mo (traditional pork dumplings), Tom Kha coconut soup with tofu and veggies, Shrimp Summer Rolls, Som Tom Salad spicy level 2, the Nam Yur beef salad spicy level 2, everything Green urry, and even Pad Thai with tofu, spicy level 2.

Thai iced teas and Thai iced coffees have a unique delicious flavor that you can’t find anywhere other than a thai restaurant. I think they use sweetened condensed milk. I recommend those if you did not bring your own alcohol.

I wish them much success!!!! Maybe one day they can open a restaurant with a bar

Food used to be so much better. Fried rice used to have more flavor and more vegetables. Very disappointed with the big chunks of egg and chicken. It used to be chopped up small. Will not be ordering again.
