Finally tried this place out and it is so close to where I live. It’s really hard to find good Thai restaurants in the Twin Cities. I ordered the red curry with shrimp and my boyfriend ordered the chicken pad Thai. Although there are a lot of people complaining about the prices, I thought it was fair. To be honest, everything is expensive now. My shrimp red curry had at least 8-10 shrimp in there. I asked for her to make it spicy, but not too overwhelming. It was just right. There was enough sauce and food to split into two meals. The flavor was amazing! I love a good red curry and this place has it! The chicken pad Thai was different than most places. Most places make their pad Thai sweet. This place made it more on the salty side, which is better in my opinion. And again, the portion size was large. I could’ve definitely made two meals out of that. The lady at the counter was also the chef and she did a great job. The price honestly isn’t an issue if the food is good and the portion size. It definitely makes up for it! Please at least give it a try without reading the negative reviews. I like that there isn’t a huge menu, so you can narrow down your options! Will be coming back here!

The biggest secret in Shakopee. Absolutely the best Thai food ever. 100% fresh, clean and tasty food. What ever you do, order the Chicken Chow Fun, Drunken Noodles and Fresh Spring Rolls – they are hands down the most enormous and delicious spring rolls w/peanut sauce I’ve ever had.
The restaurant must have different owners now, as some of the previous reviews have photos of food that doesn’t look anything like what we experienced. The food is delicious, well proportioned and fairly priced.
I can tell they mostly do take out and catering, so the atmosphere is pretty low key with minimal customers crowding the place. Thank you Thai Tempo!

I would go 2.5 stars if I could but I’ll lean on the side of grace.
When I walked in, there were no other customers. The cashier was not very receptive or friendly. Some regulars came in while I was eating and a lady from the back spoke with them. They got a much better reception than I got for sure.
The restaurant was clean. The advertisements on the wall are beautiful but the banquet style tables and chairs leave something to be desired.
I disagree with at least part of most of the reviews as far as the food goes. A lot of people saying that the food is super good. I didn’t think so. It’s not bad… it’s just ok. It was hot and the Others said the portions sizes were small? I disagree there too. I was very full when I was finished. Beautiful dish with the cabbage, scallions, and bean sprouts. I wish it would have been as good as it looked.
One thing I agree with is it is definitely overpriced. The menu on the wall said that the drunken noodles that I ordered were $16 and yet they were $19 on my receipt… and $3 for a CAN of soda? Yikes! I’m traveling for work so I’m not paying for it but I know that at $25 a person, I’d probably not take the family. $100 would be better spent on food elsewhere.
I went with the intension to go to Jerseys Mikes but this place caught my eye so they did good there. Next time I’ll probably just get a sandwich though.

I came here just because my daughter needed a bathroom so I grabbed lunch too. I’ve never had yellow curry with just onion and tofu before. It looked more like a Japanese Curry instead of a Thai curry.
I was disappointed that for $20.00 I got tofu and rice without any vegetables. I thought carrots and potato would at least be included in the curry.
The food was nice and hot. The rice was aromatic. The bathroom was very clean. I mightl come back for the clean bathroom and $2 can of soda.
I don’t understand the good reviews though don’t people like vegetables? A curry for $20 really should come on a proper plate as well.

Modern Thai restaurant with excellent food. The ingredient quality is top notch, everything prepared fresh, bubble tea made with real coconut milk, the pearls are the correct texture (soft not chewy). I can’t praise this restaurant highly enough. I come here often for the sesame & orange chicken, also the chicken pad thai. They offer lots of protein options from shrimp to tofu.

Pros: Flavorful spicy chicken lomein. Very unique and delicious
Cons: price point is way too high. Doesn’t match the ingredients in the dish. For example, my spicy chicken lomein consisted of noodles, some chicken and maybe four slices of onion. NO other veggies!!! That was shocking to me.
I paid $21 for lunch! Cream cheese puffs ($6 for 6) were mostly fried wonton with very little filling. Can of Diet Coke was $2
The soda machine was broken. There was no customers inside (1:30 pm on a Tuesday).
I probably wouldn’t eat here again

Ate here recently since I was staying in the Hampton inn across the parking lot. Very good food – tasty and spicy just the way I like it. They are fast and you get a lot of food for the price. While I was eating there several folks came in for take out orders. Which seemed to be a fair amount of their business. Definitely recommend eating here – whether you stay in or take it out.

The 1 star ia for the food, egg spring rolls were good. Talk about the customer service, it’s sucks. The Thai woman is arrogant at her best. I ordered Tum Yum from the picture and it has fried rice in the picture and I was given white rice. When I asked why not fried rice as shows in the picture, the thai woman shouts me saying “you get white rice only, pay $5 extra for fried rice”. I have no problem paying what ever the difference at least she could have said it in a nice way. The American lady the counter was polite and calm.
I hope the thai woman realize that this is America, respect and customer service matters the most and everywhere else too. She is just talking to people as she would do it back in Thailand may be. That doesn’t work. Please respect people, talk humbly.
If possible, SKIP this place. Not worth your time and money.
